Mate they are great but they are $1899, if your looking for a downrigger pm me, i have 2 x scotty depthmasters which i bought for $200 each, they sell for over $500 each in tackle shops, i can put you onto how to get them that cheap.

There are quite a few of us here that downrigg regurlarly, have you heard about the new Strike Vision Downrigger from Walker....looks amazing, actually films the fish striking, much better rigger then previously made attempts

Mate the fishing is still pretty crap in Pittwater, spoke with Pete Le Blang from Estaury Charters yesterday and he confirmed that the fishing is slow

Well done on a great fish, %^$^# does know his shit even though him and i disagree on a few things, and you done the right thing in covering his spot, as stated he has worked hard to find his spots and im a believer in if you wanna know his spots you should pay him and go out on a charter. I did the same thing when i didnt know shit about Pittwater, went out with Pete and learnt alot, now am good mates with him. Well done again, make sure you put it in the records section and fish of the month

Mate run a Paternoster rig with a pyramid sinker, used to do it alot at Stanwell Park, always worked well for me,

Interesting result to see that Pittwater/Hawkesbury has come in as most popular, And sydney harbour not so popular. Would be good to see the results of a simalar poll next year to see any differences
