After an excellent feed from the crew down at Wattos The (coollagirl) and our little girl went over to Hen and Chicken this afternoon for a flick and to see if I can get Coollagirl onto her first fish on plastics The Fishing gods were against us today as we both had a couple of good hits and had the whole tail taken so I was guessing Bream Our little girl was fishing with prawns and getting excited about the prospect of catching fish but to no avail she kept getting little bites and missing the buggers but neverless she was excited about getting nibbles,after re rigging Lillians line a couple of times we moved over to the golf course and started fishing along there for a big fat zip The weather was great until a little later when it started to blow a little and the day really felt fishy while we were there but we still had a great time and a laugh and I got to test out one of my new rods only 1 pic and Lillian was sitting next to Coollagirl but if you look closely you can see lillian's rod sticking out to Cheers Coollamon

I will be taking a light spin outfit loaded with 4lb braid and 6lb fluro leader and 1/13 jig heads(maybe heavier depends on tide) I am heading over now for a fish (I am desperate to get a line wet lol) Coollamon

I think the critera is that you be available at least 1 weekend night i.e friday or saturday night and two other shifts through the week most shifts start at 4:00 -5:00 and end between 9:30pm and 12:00am but this may vary from cinema to cinema as I said it's a good place to work if you are interested in movies cheers Coollamon

Gday James Why dont you try your local cinema? I started being a candy bar/usher person that eventually made it's way into being a projectionist then I took over as head projectionist for the cinema I work at which is a full time job now You will find they are pretty flexible with shifts because most of the staff are at school and as a bonus you get complemntry tickets for whatever cinema you work in pay rate is pretty good and you would work with people around the same age as yourself Just my idea anyway let us know how you go Cheers Coollamon

Hey guys after reading so many different reports and seeing so many tv ads recently I have found I have been left very confused Labor (I have been told) will get the majority of the preference votes from the greens,if they dont win the seat they will give there votes to labor and if that happens then there would be more marine parks and restrictions on our day to day fishing is this true?? Liberal would not impose more restrictions on our day to day fishing is this true? would Peter Debman really pull police off the streets and chop up 20000 jobs ? Can anybody out there please give me an indication of what the real story is with the greens and what happens to their votes if they dont win a seat? I want my vote to actually mean something and I belive the better informed you are the easier it is to do the right thing with your vote any help you guys can give me would be great Cheers Coollamon

Thanks for all your kind words and thoughts Raiders this really has been a roller coaster ride of a weekend got a call from the "we have your car" great I think get it towed so that forensics can goo over it and hopefully find some prints I whent down to have a look at it and although the body doesnt look to bad we start it up and boy does she sound rough what was once a smooth sounding v8 now sounds rough and the tyres that were near new are nearly racing slicks ohh well insurance will cover it I thought to myself Go Home to update insurnce comp of visable probs with car to find excess is well over normal WTF?? upon enquirey My contract says "garaged at" not kept at so they are sating technicaly they dont have to pay so my solicator has been bought in and we shall see what happens Then I lodge my contents claim wich comes to about $5000-$6000 of stuff find I excess is now $1000 Mobile phone company said the insurance I paid at the start of my contract is more like extra warranty and doesnt cover the phone being stolen Still at the end of the day I thank the stars that My Littlle family is ok & that I have a great group of friends here at fishraider that are fast becoming like extended family Once again guys thanks for all your kind words Cheers John,Heather & Lillian

Woke up this morning to find the cat on my bed "weird" I thought I locked the cat in the laundry so I get up to put him back in the laundry I noticed the laundry window open and the flyscreen off WTF?????? wake up the and do a thourough search through the house and discover no one here but our new car keys gone mobile phones gone video camera gone wallets gone various fishing tackel rods/reels from garage gone wifes jewlery Gone cops told me to lock back door go out the door and find a mattock at the door they were obviously prepared to use if trouble arised :: look out the front new car Gone GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR called cops and waiting for them to turn up to finger print the place as I speak thank god we didnt wake up when they were in the house who knows what would have happened really pissed off at the moment and they even took all my ciggies ARGGGGHHHHHHHHHHH bloody scum bags should be turned into pencils
