  1. If temps are 23 and up they should still be around. Second waverider buoy has produced more fish all season. As above i can only ever find it by sighting boats at it. Should be NE in about 95m.
  2. Aw thats sweet! Lucky you weren't chasing pinkies....
  3. Really, nothing hitting the live yakkas? Was pumping good Friday.
  4. Thanks folks. Cant have more fun on light gear, especially when the kings turn up. Nothing to bust you off in 90m!
  5. Ha agreed. 5kg stripe tuna almost spooled 4000.
  6. Harbour fad and waverider both producing. Got the two big boys on unweighted yakkas that lasted about 5 seconds on the surface. All others on unweighted stripey and pilly cubes. So many boats fishing with lead and getting nothing every drift. Burley up and then drop in your bait open bail arm and hang on. Few kings in there too which was awesome on light gear. Good luck.
  7. That is a solid king in anyones books especially land based. You have really cracked it when you get these consistent results, well done.
  8. Thats the million dollar question! Been my first season offshore but my mates tell me this is very unusual and the best season in history. However as long as the temps remain 23+ they will stay. Temps were still 23.5 yesterday. Im hoping till end of May.
  9. Hi folks Haven't posted a report all season as its just been dollies every week. But i wanted to put this up as a lot of people are asking if they are still around.....the answer is yes and the average size is getting bigger! Get out there and have a great easter. Cheers Paul
  10. We stuck it out and wind dropped right off at the hydraulic. Kept four each up to 80 on unweighted baits, only small fish hitting lures. Had two yakkas and they lasted about 5 seconds. Also hooked a few rats to 63 that put up a good fight, bit of a wake up after the dollies, reckon they could pull one backwards! Happy easter.
  11. Oh yeah they are still thick off Sydney and average size is growing.
  12. Woo! Are they getting any bigger??
  13. Highly likely but Will know tomorrow
  14. Lol yup totally missed it...
  15. 10m swell how is that validated???
  16. Should be ok very little wind and its westerly too which will keep it flat. Willy shows 2m but seabreeze at 1.5m swell. See what the update brings this arvo.
  17. I have the 1990 4.90 model lol Gets me to the FAD on a good day and goes great with a 70 jonno. I would imagine the new ones are a lot better, Had no idea they were still making them!
  18. With all this bad weather recently im itching to get offshore and see if these dollies are still around. Weather looks 50/50 at this stage. Anyone heading out? Cheers Paul
  19. Cheers Leo, what size do you run? Any cons after switching from trebles?
  20. Hi folks My xraps have been busy with the mahi this season and need some replacement j hooks. Can anyone advise best size, style, brand? Its the smaller slash bait size. Cheers Pail
  21. BRP recommend XD30 for carby engines, is there any tangible benefit running XD50 in this application? I have ways used Valvoline.
  22. Thanks, ill be investing in some pakulas before the easter break
  23. We have a self set limit of 5. Normally smash 2 and freeze 3. Everyone will tell you they don't freeze well which is BS. Ive been defrosting and eating them all season.
