Burwood rd and cabarita are quiet but not great ramps. Drummoyne is awesome ramp and should be quiet mid week.

Cant comment on salina but LOVE my stradic 6000. Didn't understand the cult following at first but now i get it, worth every cent if you fish regularly.

My advice is to get the elite 5 as you will absolutley use the GPS for waypoints, trails, drifting, marking spot x etc.
If the elite 5 comes with maps you should snap it up.
Recently upgraded my aounder and worth every cent it as it has transformed my fishing.
Hope this helps.

Buck 9" filleting knife, quality item and cheap online from US of A.

Tried them all but Im a power pro man. Sunline gave me nothing but wind knots, although that was on 6lb. Still a bloody expensive exercise.

Dont feel bad mate Its not a shame, they are plentiful and its legal. Nice work on the king, great to see them inside. What did he take?

Not a fan of the slide mount?
-
Happy_iguana_inc on flea bay, dollar was much stronger though.

The Scotty 1050 comes with slide in mount. I bolted it to the gunwale on a piece of PVC chopping board. It is rock solid and slides right out when not in use. For 150 delivered its hard to beat i think.

Scotty 1050 highly recommend it

My Simrad was doing similar crazy things when i first installed it. After a factory default reset all was well.

Agree with all this good info. Also safety gear is a bo brainer and know how to use it. I have another personal rule that i come back in close by 12pm no matter what the weather. I have seen it change too many times and always around midday. Just from my personal experience. My boat is 4.90 and was at the first FAD last week. Also a southerly is NEVEr good if you see it forecast get in ATLEAST two hours early and stick to yhe 12pm rule!
Hope this helps
