We arrived around 7am Nice & cool. We caught six Bonitos between us. I caught two nice snapper around 47cm. Went quite for a while. Landed two Gropers around 39cm ( released ) These fish really test my gear. I always take two rods. One for lures & the other one for bait. My mates are bait guys, so they don't agree with me. Off to the Newport Arms for breakfast. Top hamburgers. I was wearing my Newport Arms jumper. You reckon that didn't cause a stir. The jumpers were released 30 years ago by the Newport Arms. Today they are a sacred. Cheers.

@big Neil Green cooked peas. There is an article on the Forum about green peas, back in 2018/19. Cheers.

@faker Blackfish hooks are very small. I use size 8 or 10. You have to thread the peas on slowly. Use scent & rub some sand over the peas. It all seems to work, some how. Don't ask me I just go fishing. Cheers.

@kantong Not really into floats. Just followed the advice on the Forum & asked the fishing tackle shop for some floats. They work but are tricky to adjust. I had another rod out with a very small lure on it & a blackfish nailed it. I believe the berley & the scent really helps. Cheers.
