  5. I also have the Catana / Sienna combo (7 foot 2-4kg rod, 2500 reel) 4lb braid, 6lb FC leader and it has served me very well. This outfit casts very light plastics with ease and will handle decent bream and flathead no probs. If you shop around you can pick it up for well under $100 which will leave you some change to get a few plastics/jig heads and maybe even some hards. Good luck with your purchase. Ian

  19. Great work Andrew and lovely report I always find a snag on the sandiest of bottoms when using blades! Yeah I've also got some blades in the tackle box that don't get much use for fear out of loosing them. Recently I've taken the trebles off some blades and replaced the rear treble with assist hooks, it's something I saw in a mag. I don't think the hook up rate is as good but snagging is reduced and as Richard said it's easier to remove the hooks from the fish and also causes less damage to the fish.
