Longnose point has kings prob better if u drive to honeymoon bay to put in ur yak. From callala bay to longnose is bout maybe 10 min flat out in a 30 hp but have seen bonito schools just next to callala bay so maybe u might get kings mixed in

Yeah it would be same area i usualy see heaps of boats there too but cause it was a monday night only saw 1 boat on the water -

From the boat ramp i went right pass the bridge only bout 50 metres passed it fishing along the channel -
Hey all tried to go prawning last night got mixed up on reading the tides some how must of read the wrong day. Got there was the start of the run in tide lucky we brang a rod, caught 4 bream round the 27 cm and 4 whiting between 28 to 36cm all on prawns

I thought all motors have a pull start,mine is on the outside and i thought they have an emergency 1 inside on the others i could be wrong -
Well done yowie i fished from 2 onwards heap of undersize reds and tailor around and small pilchards nothing herassing them still might try mornings next week on holidays see u out there

Well done yowie bit quite lately got 2 nanagei at south west arm other day bit of a surprise catch hopefully the fishin gets better in next couple of weeks

No worries im not sure about fishin it high tide it might get anckle deep im usualy in boat but the nippers there are usualy good size

A.dawgs right, mansion point is just round the corner and im sure u can get there without a boat aswell. Should be a street near there

Hey mate i have the same unit i think its awsome. The structure images are nelly like 3d.finding fish took a wile to get use to what they actualy look like it is diffferent to other sounders as for finding fish but i just change the colour to white background for fish they show up alot easier

The mouth of gymea or even round the moored boats in there i think the anchor light attracts them they are usualy 1 or 2 metres down usualy undersize though

I get them at night most times on the sibiki only problem is when the small tailor come to play lose alot of hooks

Good catch mate i didn think salmon went as far as greys point hopefully some fish around on the weekend

Hey all, was watchin et on foxtel and notice a guy in the background turn off the sounder after they anchored, iv seen it once before on another show is it meant to increase the catch rate. Iv always left mine on and caught fish but intrested to know what other members do or know if there is a difference
