    Hey mate iv got 1 the dsi model its a real good sounder once u get use to it yellowtail will come up as little dots, kingies come up in big dots if ur anchored they will be lines,use what colour suits u to look at structure but when ur sounding out for fish,change the colour to white back ground its the best 1 to see fish,u just have to get use to it too know what fish is what

    Sounds like u had a good dAy, too bad u lost tht big run, iv also caught a few samson fish in the harbour round the spit and north head they are nothin compared to the ones in perth though they grow huge

    No worries i use the 2 stroke oil i put in my petrol and it works fine

    Hey mate is it hydraulic or cable if its cable, the metal pole bit the motor slides on when u turn just put some oil on it and turn the motor left to right till its all lubricated

    Well done yowie and great effort on handline, jews tht size is a good feed for 2 went out friday and caught 10 rat kings on the downrigger.best thing bout fishin the hacking in bad or average weather no crazy boats speeding past

    yeah mate got a few now round the 65cm mark a few kings about lately also maybe the yellowfin come in to chase the sardines. The last 7 weeks there's been sardines everywhere

    Hey mate if u watch hook line sinker on foxtel they usualy have some uni career thing.its usualy always on in the add breaks, its jobs to do with all marine stuff like fish stocks,marine engineers,big cruiser drivers,not so much fishing but careers on the water

    Hey mate if u pick the white back ground u see the fish easy i find pilchards and yellowtail easy on my sounder its 5x colour dsi if u wait til next weekend i can take pics and send them to u of what baitfish look like.

    Yeah mate dsi is awsome, geoff is right the dsi is harder to see fish but if u pick the right colour like the white background and get use to wht they look like on tht sounder its not tht bad.i dont think ul regret buyin 1

    Hey mate i have the same trailer as u and i drive mine up half way than i jump off the front and wind it up. The only difference is i went to bcf and bought a new middle roller its 2 times bigger easier to line up hard to miss, cost round 20 dollars. I have a brooker 4.15 looks the same as ur boat but painted i took out the 2 front seats and have a bench seat that lifts up with my stuff in it, the net idea u said sounds good im thinkin of doin tht now

    U can pump nippers next to mansion point and drift there for some whiting also inbetween lightning point and the second moring has flounder sometimes if u get threw or the baby snapper there. Yowie prob no better spots for what ur after

    Be happy with a few flattys i also went friday arvo till night. 2 legal whiting near costens point its plagued with little leather jackets the last 2 weeks there it use to be a good yakka spot maybe they scare them off.

    No where else realy to go though. Dolans bay can be a half hour walk up a hill they should just build a big ramp at gymea more people are going to the hacking its gettin worste every year more jetskiers and boats with tubes
