So people are paying $40 a case for beer flavoured water 😳

    Or

$45 for 12 × 375ml bottles of miracle hemp tonic in the shape of a beer bottle :whistling:

I think its a joke myself, all these "no alcohol " drinks.

If you want to abstain the just have a cup if green tea, 10 cents a glass & probably much better for you.

But then if your at a bbq it at least looks better to be swilling something out of what at least looks like an alcohol bottle.

Its a bit like vegan food disguised as meat products 😂

People pay for bottled water. Each to their own i think. Personally you  have to have rocks in your head paying to drink bottled water or non alcoholic beer.Beer tastes like sxxt anytime regardless of brand if you ask me alcohol or not.

I'll let others make these companies millions thank you very much and stick with soft drink at bbqs as I'm already "tough" enough.😂🤣😂

Not sure but I think some schools now have a no nut policy because some kid might inhale the smell of one & go into  anaphylactic shock

I'm surprised they still allow kids to breathe these days.

Onya Fab, bloody good vid. 👍

Cheers mate.It was just a quickie.Next time I do my bearings I'll do a good one and post it hopefully to help someone out doing it for the first time as there's alot of misleading info out there.

  4. My son now 25 was a fussy little snot nose when he started school. All he would eat is nutella sandwiches but there was a catch. He wouldn't eat crust either. My wife had to buy dinosaur cookie cutters and cut his sandwiches into various dinosaur shapes discarding the crusts into daddy dinosaur belly(me).

Worked a treat.Luckily he ate fruit and things like that to balance out the nutella sangas. 😂🤣

Ps. I was totally over nutella crusts after a couple of years.😂🤣😂

  5. Here's a quick video I made when repacking wheel bearings on a mates trailer.

TOO MANY PEOPLE SMEAR GREASE ON THE OUTSIDE ONLY.WRONG!!

Anyway I had just woke up and sound like a drongo buy you get the idea.

The important thing you take from this video for anyone that's never done it before is YOU MUST GET GREASE ALL THE WAY THROUGH THE BEARINGS NOT JUST ON THE OUTSIDE.

@kingie chaser and @Steve-o this thread is very old. Tapatalk is not used anymore on here.

I am moving it to The Bar and closing it. The Aquarium is really for ID of fish.

By all means start a new thread on this subject. Maybe you have made some more @Fab1

I haven't made anything lately for a few years due to family health issues etc Donna.I don't have pics or see or communicate with inlaws as mrs isn't on good terms with them any more.

I have had plans for a few years to convert a mirrored old dressing table into an aquarium though.

If the planet's align I find the right one and get hold of materials I will post the build for anyone intrested.

       Cheers.

  9. A simple wheel chock would have saved that falcon.I have a 4wd hilux with good all terrain tyres and I can tell you i nearly went swimming at windang on low tide in 4low pulling my 550kg tinny out.Slimmy ramp,4 wheels on slime and wet and I spun the wheels while rolling back at the same time a couple of feet.Scared the crap out of me.

Block the holes and pump the WD40 in to the cross member. It is a bit of stuffing around but it works.

You can also buy rust proof paint and do the same.

    I do it every 12 to 18months.

    A good trailer is expensive.

Ok.I filled mine with diesel and new oil then fully sealed it.A replacement for a small boat like mine is like 3k.Buys alot of bait and fuel.

I used WD40. i bought a Blower from Bunnings for cleaning the driveway at home. This is an electric blower and blows at

300kph, that is what the label says. I use it to blow the water off the trailer and the boat. Doesn't take long. Never had a rust problem.

    Cheers.

No chance in hell any blower will get rid of water and salt from inside my cross members unless there's a 2 mm adapter for one.

Good to hear someone doesn't have any rust issues inside their cross members.

How do you spray the wd inside the crossmembers to coat them all over?

  12. At least the door handles didn't break.Let's try to hold over a tonne of car by the door to stop it from swimming the second time around shall we.

He won't even notice the rust once it forms.

yes, they have done a good job in design.
as for noise, well, Im still running a grumpy evinrude two stroke :D

and off tangent, its was said, years ago, an unmuffled rotary engine could almost embarrass a formula one car grid with teh rotary being so loud.

In the early 90's I had an rx4 coupe.I miss that noise and that car.

The 600hp are nearly 600kg, each. 1200 something pounds in weight each

I can legally tow one engine as my Kia has a tow capacity of 600kg unbraked.Might have to ask fellow raiders to bring the rest of the engines down to the ramp and the boat too if they don't mind.

Just looking through the loose change in the car to purchase that rig now.

Never had a problem with rust on trailers over the years. Always washed them down. Used WD40 where it counts.

    Cheers.

What did you do inside the cross members? I'm yet to see a trailer with unsealed cross members with no rust.

  16. 43 minutes ago, Rebel said:

Before you do what you want to do,ask a Trailer manufacture if it is ok. Those holes are there for a reason.

    Cheers.

The trailer manufacturer will say leave them how they are so water sits in there rusting it to bits to get more sales.

As the guys said they are there for galvanizing purposes and if the trailer manufacturers gave 0.111111111% of a s%## in preserving the trailers after they have sold them to you they'd use their brains and have the crossmembers ends fully welded as well as the chassiss rails ends.

They simply would have holes in the usual places,at ends of rails and crossmembers then after the galvanizing process plug the holes with blind grommets.

But that would be to easy and lose them a s%## load of $$$.

    13 minutes ago, frankS said:

The holes are there so that the galvanizing doesn't explode when dipped. Trailer manufacturers don't care what happens to the trailer once it's sold, so just leave the holes where they are. Also the holes should be at the lowest points of the trailer so the water runs out from the inside channels. If you happen to park the trailer on uneven ground water will form a pool and rust from the inside out. Very rarely are trailers parked dead level so that all the water can escape.

    Frank

My trailer is parked in my garage level and was still rusting at the centre and ends of the crossmembers. The damage is done at the ramp when your trailer is left in the hot sun stewing all day while your away fishing covered in salt water.

Salt water is never getting inside the frames crossmembers of my trailer ever again I can assure you.

I agree with everything you say.

The holes are there for galvanising, as long as there's some kind of rust preventative inside, blocking them up is fine.

    Agree.

Imagine the boat you could buy & still have enough left for fuel to see your fishing days out

For the price of one 600hp $70,000 😱

I know. But If you can afford 70k for a donk you don't care If the price of potatoes at woolies goes up 10c a bag would be my guess.
