  1. great video, really enjoyed it. Thnx for making my lunch break that little bit better!!
  2. Thanks guys, Those surgeon fish were only in the 20's but gave one hell of a fight, well worth catching them at that size.
  3. Hi all, Hit Rose Bay wharf yesterday for a quick fish on the run up tide. Weed sourced from Homebush and la Perouse. As much as it was a gorgeous day there were not many fish about. 1st hour saw us land 2 sturgeon fish and 2 blackfish with only one being a keeper at 29cm. Last hour to high saw no action at all. With that we headed to Parsley Bay for 45mins with nothing there either. It was a fantastic day to be relaxing especially after watching the Blues the night before!! Might try the bottom of the tide next visit.. Cheers Jed.
  4. Nice variety there, looks like a good day was had by all. When summer hits take the family up to the Basin in Pittwater, beautiful location and very relaxing.
  5. Might have started a new trend here, be curious to see the fly works for you under the float!!
  6. Must be quiet or mobile service not so good! Raining at Windsor, probably wet your end as well.

  13. Nice fish there, gotta love a good fishing session.
  14. Hi all, Been doing night shift this week due to Network upgrades so have been able to get a mid week fish in. Smaller fish caught at Woy Woy baths, very few downs, probably wrong tide. The bigger fish caught of the rocks at Pearl Beach, only went here for a look and decided to throw in a line for an hr. Happy Days!!! Hopeing to get back there first up Friday morning, plenty of coffee needed!!! Cheers Jed.
  15. Very healthy looking fish there. Might have to drag the tinny down there one weekend for an over nighter!!
  16. Top day for it. Fished Middle Head last Sat' for zip and then Port Hacking for 3 on Sunday. Seem a bit thin at the moment!! Good to be out and about though. Cheers Jed.
  17. Nice work Howsy. I met you the other day down at sans souci (Optus bloke), nice to have a chat to you.
  18. Nice work!! Very enjoyable type of fishing, getting hold of the weed is the hardest part.
  19. Nice haul there, top day for a fish as well. Fish or no fish, the harbour is a beautiful place to wet a line.
  20. Hi all, Was able to sneak in a quick 90mins yesterday arvo down at Hunters Hill. I had some week old weed that I'd found in a storm water drain at the back of Kings Langley. Wasn't expecting much but you've got to be in it too win it!!! Stopped off at Huntley's Point to make up some burley then quickly shot over to Pulpit reserve. There were a couple of guys already fishing the eastern end so I headed down to the far end away from the marina. I was wondering why the path was all wet down that end, soon found out why (bloody big cruisers that produce massive wake). Anyways started to fish at about a rods length and wasn't seeing any action, just the bait catching the bottom. I shortened up and was able to get a good drift. Still no action though! I noticed that the float was drifting away from the rocky edge so I dragged it back a bit closer in. No sooner had I done that the float disappears, unbeknown to me as I had looked away. Look back, where's the float? Lift the rod and we're on....sweet....nice bit of weight......nice fight....and I'm not making any headway here!!! Don't panic, first fish in awhile, just take your time. Where's the net, dam over there....slow shuffle sideways holding the rod up, grab the net a bring it closer. Now back to the fish, see it now, holy crap it's huuuugggeeeee!!!! Start praying that the gear holds out, finally it's in the net. Huge adrenaline rush, hands shaking, heart pumping, so stoked. Gotta be a PB for sure, never got a blackfish over 40 yet. A quick measure on the brag mat, yeah it's going to be a brag alright...just over 41cm's, I'll take that. a quick photo and into the keeper net. Anyway that was it for the rest of the day, not one other down and tried a few other spots as well. Must have been the lone ranger. Apologies for all the dribble but I'm still over the moon. Cheers Jed.
  21. Classic...top effort to hang on with that pull that almost saw him in the drink!!! Top stuff...
  22. Nice place Nambucca, is that the Foreshore Caravan Park wall I see there?? Stayed there for 2 weeks early Dec' and fished mainly Warrell Creek for some good whiting and flattty's. Scored a few bream not far up Nambucca River. I remember one of the locals at the park mentioning that the Pro had netted about 5 or 6 bull sharks while we were there, not a good thought!!! Good catch all round. Cheers Jed.
