yeah thanks for the advice fellow raiders, im in the security industry and ive got heaps of lighting around the house now, my whole front yard is now lit up and the same with the driveway and at night i have my back yard totally lit to the pointt there isnt much difference light wise then during the day, the cameras will be covering every single inch of the front yard , the driveway and my back yard, as well as a back to base alarm, so i guess that we are pretty well safe in the house now ,

yep , its not to bad during the day but as soon as the sun sets things totally change and we are not prepared to move just yet,

yeah i know but im just really sick of the fact that when people get onto the water they totally lose all common sence and totally forget about safety,

hello fellow raiders, now some of you may know roselands , i have lived in ths area with my wife for approx 2 years now, at 1st it was a nice area but lately things have changed, werid noises in the middle of the night and strange people walking up and down the street during the night and finding out that my bushes in the garden along the fence line and my neighbours bushes both being pushed down from when people have jumped the fences, so i am abnle my self to protect my wife and i if some 1 broke in , it worries me that while im asleep some 1 could be out side going throw my boat and my garage, so i have some advice for every one,, i have just ordered cameras , i have ordered 6 cameras and will be picking them up this week and putting them up around the out side of the house, they can be turned off during the day but i can turn them on during the night and when they detect movement they auto record straight back to my computer, now lets see them try to take something, you can also get dummyy cameras from bunnings ware house for $20 , they would be good to put up where fellow raidesr keep there boats to scare off the bad boys.

I went out fishig last friday night with parents on botany bay , as im sure that any one who was also out there on friday night would agree that it was bad, so to start this off il start from the start. we got out into the bay and it was really windy and choppey, we decided to head over to near the container warf near the 3rd funway. we finally got there and after anchoring up and setting up after about an hour, a boat came in our direction with 2 men and a woman on board , now for the record our lights were on both exterior and interior lights and there was no way on this earth that u could not see us. this boat was heading straight for us and turned hard to the left at the last minute so close to us that i could read the screen on his fish finder, they then decided to anchor up with 5 metres of our boat, so after some very much foul launguage from my boat to theres they up anchored and moved away and decided to anchor again about 20 metrees from our boat but by the time they turned there motor off and stuffed around there boat was again within 5 metres from ours, so being the type of person i am i pulled out the tackle box that i have for these situations .ie: jet ski's . full of nice big sinkers, they then decided to up anchor start the motor while it was tilted up now why they tilted the motor up il never know, an took off nearly hitting another boat on the way, while i was happy that that situation ended , about an hour later another boat with about 5 men on board decided to head our way , now i was thinking that these guys knew what they were doing since they kept away from us. boy was i wrong, we watch in dis belief as they tied up to the marker boy , amazing but true, what a night it was on botany bay last friday night and to top things off we took home NO FISH.

yeah i heard of they accident at 2am in the morning, very sad to hear about it but in all honesty it was only a matter of time before this happened, i feel for both parties, the people that where on the private cruiser , i feel sorry for them , i also feel sorry for the ferry driver, while i dont go out on the harbour much but every time i do go out there, the ferries do go way to fast for that area of water, while im sure this was just one of those freak accidents , i feel for the ferry driver as im sure he didnt turn up to work with the intenson of having a major boat accident, i for one can not begin to feel the way he would be at the moment, having been the skipper of a water craft that was involved in an accident that killed 3 people with a young girl missing, so while i feel for both sides , i do think that something needs to be done to stop future accidents from happening on the water,

hello there fellow i took my mother and i for a drive out to wattos fishing store this morning to get a few things for fishing 2morrow night, as ive only been there once before i tried to call stewy as i was lost out there and i didnt realise he was out fishing up north and then the fone cut out so we cruised around st mary's and finally found the store, i live in roselands and from roselands to st mary's is a fair drive , now i normally buy my bait and gear from any of the local stores but from now on il be driving out there to get my bait and gear because as soon as we entered the store we where greated with a smile , really friendly service and i got some good advice on lures and soft plastics and found the store to be really well priced. both my old lady and myself spent a small fortune in the store we received a discount and ive gotta say thanks for that mate, i can not recommend wattos fishin store highly enought, i will from now on be driving the 2 return drive to get all my gear and bait, and its great to have such a great store support fishraider and i for one am proud to have fishraider stickers on my boat, cheers benny

congrats on the snapper, ive heard a lot of reports lately of some big fish in the georges river, good to see that the georges river is comming back, i found out of a old fisherman of a really good black fish spot im going to next week

hey there, yeah i went on saturday, and gotta say that i wasnt very impressed either, rather boring, with only 1 tackle shop, i walked away feeling very depressed after seeing a twin hulled boat on a trailer inside with a price tag of i think $220,000. i wanted it.

with the fluro lights , what i did was i painted the fluro lights with a black paint that i got and painted one side of them so that the black side was pointing up and the light didnt go thru the black paint but still lit up the floor of the boat

hey fellow raiders, well i can say that if you want nippers go to sandringham/ sans souci, right next to the boat club which is next to tom uglys bridge at low tide its great for nippers and im sick of buying bait from the bait shops and wanna catch my own so im looking for area's in south west sydney where i can catch my own worms, so where can i catch them in south sydney ???? and how

ive been fishing either every week or every second week for the last 4 years and i have only been pulled up once and that was about a year ago and at 2am in the middle of the night in the middle of botany bay,

well even know i hate the game well i guess you could say i dont hate the game but i hate the way the lead players are put in the spot light like they are a god or something, but im sure the doggies will be up there in the top 8 and maybe even top 4

ok thanks mate . i prefer the fold down aerial as my 27megs radio aerial is a fold down one and its much easier.
