  4. Was the eyes on the fish sunken and all the skin wrinkly??/ I remember once at portstephons about 2 years ago dad slept in the boat one night....extremely long story lol......he came in the next morning and asked if i had emptied the kill tank/esky i said yes. He goes "well something in there smells like $#!t go and find out what it is" have a search around to find the burly hadnt been emptied and there was about 5kgs of pillies in a bucket with half a lid on. Took it all down to the water waded out and poured the pillies into the water the ammount of mullet and garfish getting stuck into the floating maggots was amazing. If i had of used my brains i should have kept the maggots for bait...ohhhh well. cheers james
  5. Hey mate I have just recently "retired" from downhill mountain bike riding.......i saw that problem all to often with my cranksets on previous bikes and on mates bikes. It causes such a hassel i tried everything loctite, electrical tape, plumbers tape, super glue jsut about everything but ended up replacing the 3 peice crankset in the end which cost me $300 off a mate. I found that by pulling your crank set occasionally removing any sand/dirt can also help in slowing or even stopping the crank falling off. I also experienced by just tightening the crank nut/bolt up it will stop the crank from comming loose temporarily...but after a while the crank itself had started to wear away around the bolt casuing issues. cheers james

  17. Moulinoux point is a good spot...burly is the key. And where the rocks meet the sand in yarra bay is a top spot aswell. Chook pellets, tuna oil, bread old fish frames, rice, vegies all mixed together should bring them around. n0 7 longshank hook or a 6 hook pre-made jig with squid on each hook (squid lasts ages with the pickers and rigging 6 hooks with other baits is time consusming) Thats what we did anyway and it worked magic. Good luck cheers james
