  1. Hi mate We have a lowrance lcx-37c plotter,fishfinder/depthsounder/gps combo in our 6.2seascape alloy..top unit, could not be happier. Im trying to upload a photo of the unit, i have resized the pic it is nearlly microscopic but it still says im having issues ARHHHHHH.......help please cheers james
  2. We used to have a 6 meter haines center console with air suspension seats but everyone always stood up unless we were trolling. We now have a 6.2 meter alloy cuddycab, seats are great but the driver still stands up alot of the time. I stand up as i cant see whats ahead of me when the boat planes. Wider seats would be great with high backs on them. Our new boat has a bench styled seat along the back but the back is not high enough. Also a rear bench seat that folds away nicely under the coaming so the cushion could be used to pad your knees when fishing. Alot of people who use there boats for a variety of activities including family fishing, game fishing, family crusing, skiing etc if i was one of them people i would love removable seats. cheers james

  6. The correct trolling speed from what iv learnt when trolling divers is when the tip of the rod starts to develop a "quivering" action...so i was trolling at what every speed that was. Thanks jewgaffer Will be moving to southport......anyone know how the fishing is up there? At the moment i have heard alot of reports of large flathead, juvinile blacks and a 130kg sailfish was caught just off stradbroke island 2 weeks ago....can't wait to fish up there... maybe sooner than i expect. I will miss all my mates, but i will be coming back down as much as i can, plane tickets are cheap and plane flights are about an hour, i will try and make it back for any socials around sydney. cheers james
  7. Hi guys Made the last minuite decision with my neighbour arthur to make a trip to the cooks river to break our 6-7 week streak off the water. Launched the 8foot orange tub with 2hp mariner at 6pm lastnite and fished till2am this morning. Fished around all the moored boats between the ramp and the bridge, fished all around the bridge, drifted the breakwalls put it this way we fished every bit of water from the ramp to jsut outside the breakwalls. Used tuna, pilchards, whitebait, prawns as bait also used lures divers, sp's, poppers at all locations, trolled some of the lures. Total tally 4 bream palm sized(throw backs) put in tons of effort at time for f-all Oh well can't have the fish everytime. cheers james
