  6. Hi guys Can i get a few reccomendations on what outfit i should go for, after a eggbeater outfit. It will be used to chase spanish macks, mack tuna, small yft, cobia, kings, golden trevally, small sharks. using baits, jigging, casting poppers/lures, trolling. I was thinking-- Shimano spheros 14000fa 30lb braid Shimano Bluewater Saltwater, 762,15-24kg Spin cheers james

  12. We used to have a haines hunter 580slf center console with twin 90 yammy 2 strokes. It had a self draining deck with scuppers and was amazing at rest. One time off south head botany i hooked the big one(but it got away) all 4 crew members came 2 1 side of the boat heres the average weights of these guys me-65kg dad- 95kg barry-95kg craig-145kg plus the esky slid down and cracked me in the ankles and we had the bait tank on this side of the boat plus a load of fishing gear. The boat did lean to the side but it wasnt really to bad, i miss the self drainin deck. cheers james

  17. Dad caught one of them crimson goatfish in botany on the bait grounds about 2 years back, top colours in them and they fight good 2, dads was about 60cm, are they any good to eat/? cheers james

They are used to slow the boats drift down. Top peice of equiptment. When using a sea anchor for best results let out about 10meters of rope. cheers james
