Bate Bay just outside the Port Hacking, there is plenty of little reefs and weedy areas that always clean up just make sure there is weed. Sent from my HTC One X using Tapatalk 2 nice I will give it a shot tomorrow.

Cheers John. It's a shame the beginning of winter produced some good results for me and now it's kind of died out, this rain isn't helping much either because the water is too fresh. Anyways when all the commotion has gone I will give it another shot.

i was out there in windy weather and the water was also choppy and didnt catch anything. it creeps them out does it?

Hi guys, Just wanted to post and see other people's pov on this. I have been going down to my usual spot to fish out calamari, I sometimes have luck and walk out with a nice bag full but have noticed that when its really cold, the water is a bit choppy there is nothing around. Also I have heard that they are colour blind so this whole colour scheme with the jigs apparently doesn't make a difference, is it just me or has anyone else out there heard of this or been told that and could cold weather and choppy water affect the way I catch my calamari? Hi all, Heading out fishing tomorrow night and not too sure where to go. I am going to be fishing land based and among to target jewies, squid and some flat head. I was meant to go Saturday (tomorrow) but yer the weather is poo and now the trip has been cancelled! Such a shame it was fine all week and now that we planned to go out fishing it decided to ruin the whole thing!

Hey guys, I'm thinking of getting into trout fishing and I was looking in the daily telegraph, apparently you can catch rainbow & brown trout in the water systems around Warragamba damn. Is this true? If so where would I be successful and if not where could I go to fish these species? I live in wetherill park nsw so somewhere near there would be good Thank you!
