Now I know what Fab1 Stands for So you are Uruguayan? Poor Suarez! That's if you follow, I'm sure you do!
  2. Mate go to the servo, that's what I do, or an industrial area with a tap
  3. You talking about the black cover sitting above the flywheel? If so that one just requires you to push those side tabs in. Quite hard some of them. For the ECU check, Huey will probably reply and help you out
  4. Hi Paikea, See how you go with the other guys since they got in first - If you get stuck let me know, PM your website if you wish and I can have a look. I'm actually a Web Designer.
  5. I've taken my E-tec to Craig at Huett Marine. Bit of a drive for you, but when you pick it up you can go fishing He knows them pretty well, anything you need to know, he will be able to answer! http://www.huettmarine.com.au 9456 1444
  6. Saw this just now on the news. Sad. http://www.dailytelegraph.com.au/news/nsw/one-person-dead-and-two-rescued-as-boat-capsizes-at-pilot-beach/story-fni0cx12-1226889755938
  7. Yes mate you are fine, but change the captiva
  8. YOu should be fine. I had a Honda 1200kgs and towed my glass boat in most of those ramps. Never got into any trouble. Although once i realised my boat weighed more than the tow rating, I upgraded my car. But yours being 1600, should be good!
  9. I like to sit down while I wait for the Marlin though
  10. Hi guys, Thinking of buying an old boat. Maybe. Just looking at the older HH V16R and the seats look quite low. Is that a pain when fishing? Also there doesn't seem to be an anchor well, and the windscreen doesn't open on the original condition ones, so how do you set up the anchor when fishing? Are you meant to climb over or whats the deal here? THanks!
  11. Hi mate, I think you will be over once fuel and gear is on. I had a honda accord. Same towing capacity. I had a cox craft 5.4m glass boat. Not the heaviest of boats and it was 1380kg when loaded. Not full tank. If an accident occurs like stated above, you wont be covered. So dont worry what the dealer suggests. Make sure you are safe first.
  12. Do some research in electric winch. As some people wish they never got it. Everyone has different opinions. I think Drum winch would be better, the points listed below are about the vertical ones. They don't to the entire job, you still have to go to the bow tie up anchor rope etc Anchor rope gets stuck Have to maintain it for warranty etc
  13. Yea I think it was the Saturday I was at Kurungai. The storm hit hard, but about 30mins later, it was all calm again. Still quite scary!
  14. Found this on another site: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OL3WLG1yix4
  15. Hey mate, I dont have one but i have been asking around for servicing prices for high Hp engines. Four strokes. And I have been quoted very similar.
  16. Any person who is the master of a powered vessel operating recreationally on NSW waters at a speed of 10 knots (18.5kph) or more must have a boat driving licence.
  17. I'm just curious what happened with the Black engines, as I also read a post that he had Joined Signature boats and was going to have input on the build. But I haven't really heard much since.
  18. Just came across an article stating he is joining Yamaha in 2014. He was with Suzuki/Haines group before. Wonder what happened? http://www.yamaha-motor.com.au/hotnews/marine-outboard/yamaha-powers-paul-worsteling-and-ifish-tv
  19. I also carry a set of chocks with me and tools. You never know! Chocks are very handy. I have the folding ones.
