I am looking for something to carry for when I beach the boat. Normally I have the anchor at the front and the bow towards the sand. When I pull up to a sand island, sometimes there is nothing to tie a rope to. I remember once in BIG W seeing something that would do the job but never bought it. What should I be looking for? What is it called? Looked like it had a spiral that went into the sand. Thanks

Drop a weighted burley bucket and see how diagonal the line is? When there is a strong current, that bucket won't go straight down.

Hi mate, I dont think so unless you buy a thermometer Just replace the transducer if it really bothers you. I dod that on my last boat. But i also lost the viewing ability of the sounder. So i guess i had more reason to replace.

Hey mate, wish i was in your shoes!! Cruise craft have a 595 outsider with a lockable cabin. Enough room to sleep. Enough room to fish at the back. Can also walk around to the bow. Bit smaller than what you are after but something to consider. Think their tanks are 220L plus. You have the signature 602 which you can get a lockable cabin. There is also a new signature 650 in the market. I have seen it in person, they look quite nice and heaps of room for fishing. Cant remember if it has a lockable cabin, but think you can get it. The evo boats are good, ive seen them in person too. I personally dont like them that much. But personal opinion. If you do a search on evolution boat problems im sure you will read a horror story. But these guys fixed it all up from what I remember. But then again not everything comes out perfect. Im not bashing any brands here

Thanks for explaining guys, i was actually rushing out so thought i would just name the reef. I dont know the actual co ordinates but im sure it is on this site. But a google search will also help you out. I started on the those reefs too. So the first is colours in sydney. Not far from the heads at all. If you go to broken bay i always try west reef. I havent had awesome success in any yet, but you never leave empty handed along west reef. West reef is about 2km out i think from barrenjoey.

Oh i see. You got a Bluefin Scoundrel. I found it. You could build a platform on that side pocket. Run the wire upwards towards the gunnel and then to the back.

All sorted! There were two hidden screws on the side panels that I didnt see.

Hi, I want to remove this back seat so I can get the trim done. Looks quite tricky. There are three screws that go through the rear onto the fiberglass. I undid them but the seat still didn't move much. Anyone done this before by any chance? I have added some pics just in case it helps. On the last pic you can see a bolt going through. There are three of them. I am assuming that is holding the back seat as well as the wooden supports you see on the corners. Thanks!

Guys somehow i got a tear on my vinyl! I am so annoyed as my boat was in original condition. Does anyone know if i can get this little piece fixed or do i have to do the whole thing? All the blue needs to match so is it possible to just replace the blue vinyl across all my seats?
