Where are you getting these record footers from? Are they true records? I'm going to make up my own

I don't think it should effect it taht much. I did it once. I was told by a marine mechanic that it will take several tanks for you to see problems. It's more about the rubber hoses/seals deteriorating from the ethanol that will cause problems. Not due to ethanol, but I had pieces of my fuel line blocking my fuel pump. My hose was 10yrs old anyway, was time for a new one!

Those dimensions are just the size of the screen. Have you seen both of them? I've had a play with both Lowrance and Humminbird. I think the lowrance presents itself nicer, the graphics are good and the functionality is quite easy.

Congrats mate Where abouts are you planning on taking it in first? Are you new to towing, reversing and launching boats too? Or you have done that before? If not you should probably start at a calm ramp where it's not too busy!

Well on my 2stroke mercury I had a similar problem. What happened was the engine dropped in revs and then picked back up again. What happened was that the fuel hose was falling apart from the inside. Motor is 2001. So I have a few hose bits stuck around the fuel pump diaphram area. I replaced all my fuel lines and a new diaphram and now it's all good

Hey mate, I have the Garmin 400c. I'm not quite happy with it atm, maybe I got a faulty one, but the depth keeps changing on mine all the time. Sometimes I have to reset it just to get the right depth. Do you need GPS at all? The new lowrance Elite 5 looks awesome! I wish I got that instead!

The above is true, i found out the hard way. Was out one day on Lion Island and it was on like donkey kong. Fish left right and centre. I realised at about 1, there were no boats, everyone had gone. I was happy, more fish to myself, then within the hour a massive storm hit, instantly. It was a scary drive home!

Does teh garmin 72 have the compass? I like the look of the 60cx, what is the model with the compass? Do both these models give you a current position and a direction of where you need to go?

I bought an app the other day for the iphone. http://www.flytomap.com/ftm/index.aspx If it actually worked I think its a decent solution in the meantime. The ccmpass don't work all the time. But what I really want is to enter spots in the system. For example, Box Head: Latitude: -33 32.549 Longitude: 151 20.420 I have two questions, why is there a minus infront of LATITUDE? Second, when I go to enter my bearing on the app, i can only inser two numbers for Latitude ie. XX.XX.XX As you can see, for box head there are three digits on the end '549'. Will that '9' make a difference? Should it have an extra digit there? Any help appreciated, thanks Oh BTW I was so angry last night I deleted the app lol, so I can't show you screen shots.
