Was fishing the other day with a mate, waiting for the high tide around 10am, bit of action, not much. Then a guy came along in his boat saying at 12.30 they will start biting becaus that's when the sun and the moon line up. And around 12.30 we had bites everywhere! ANyone heard this before? or was it just luck?

I don't think I would consider it at 8knots. We tried once in a 5.25 Metre boat, sort of calm day, we travelled 2 Kms in 40 minutes, not worth it!
