this happens to me as well, dont know why though

went to good old CG wharf yesterday after not fishing for a while armed with banana prawns and chicken plan was to catch lives and chuck them out on the big rods and try to catch bream/trevally on the smaller rods well all in all it was really quite with no taking on the livies, there was yellowtail about and pretty hard to catch compared to other days. managed a few undersized bream and squire to about 22 cm and caught this fellow, if anyone could ID this fish would be appreciated as i didn't know what it was cheers

hi raiders ill prob go fishing land based tom or the day after at either Clifton Gardens Wharf, Balmoral Wharf or even Bradleys head just would like to know what my best bet is this time of year, what species i should be targeting any advice would be appreciated cheers

yea should be good start around 8:30 and fish the tide change

well done on the squid i still haven't caught that many squid my whole life and you're catching that many in one outing congratulations

well done mate i find i catch the sambos when the seas are a bit rough and if their really calm i dont catch any sambos cheers
