    Gday raiders, Im hitting the bay tmorow and was wondering if anyone can comment on the water clarity? hopefully the crappy weather hasnt made it too murky. Regards John.

    Quintrex480 picked them up in the bay, the jewie was 52cm so the squid was about the same, pb for me! As far as jigs go it didnt really matter wat I threw, was using a red/orange 3.5 and a white 2.5.. always have a spare ready for the chasers haha

    Hey mate, I actually picked him up in the river on my way to the ramp. but ive heard of them being caught along the runways and around yarra bay.

    Thanks boys, Paikea I used a small strip of squid..was nibblin at it before it took off!

    A quick report from today. Was a beautiful day on the water, and the squid cooporated too. Also abit of surface action around. Cant wait to cook theae fellas up tomorrow! Cheers, john.

    Nice catch mate, definitely try salted pillies, or even taylor fillets..ive caught big taylor on smaller live taylor plenty of times too. And burley Hard!

    Well done TC! there seem to be plenty of fish around atm. I havent had much success on bream with sp's but I keep seeing reports like yours and they encourage me to keep trying
