Same on the central coast. Very hard to find the good wire weed. It's not growing in the normal spots. One local found some beautiful weed buts he's not telling. Lucky it's not me because I have loose lips. He is sharing though but only little bits at a time. I just got to know where. It's like finding gold Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Walk around to toowoon bay beach might be better. But if you want to flick a lure then the lake would be better. Land based your always a chance for a flathead or two off the wall or around the bridge. My mate got 8 today but was in a boat. You could try for some live prawns at night off the wharf good bait. Most of my crew use Non scented lures such as atomic paddle tails for flathead. It's all in the action and keep it on the bottom. 2 1/2 inch have caught small ones and large ones with a good range of by catch. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Sorry mate I couldn't make it I hurt my back again. But a report from Marvin said it was very crowded and he managed 2.5 kilo. Now if Marv got that many us mere mortals should get around a kilo. He's the gun. How did you end up? Cheers Steve.
