  3. Unlucky Harold. I think the pick of the year would have been the perfect timing of the social. Maybe that's it for this years hairtail. Seems the water is a lot warmer than usual. Cheers scratchie!!!
  4. No mate I didn't. Kids sport and too far to travel. Thanks for all the feedback from everyone though. It felt like I was there without drooling! Surtees is retained anither boat I'll take a look at. Something that keeps coming up though is EXTRAS!!! With all boats are the same I guess but now thinking if I buy a second hand one, all those extras are generally included!

  10. Nice farvos! It's always daunting not taking any bait but it makes you work harder on the sp's! Congrats on your pb! Cheers scratchie!!!
  11. Nice work pete and great first report! Salmon are always a great target off the beach and the one you kept looks like a cracker. Thanks for the info on the metal you were throwing. I don't spin a lot myself but that looks the goods. Cheers scratchie!!!
  12. Fisheries are certainly out and about. My son and his mates were stopped the other day and had their catch examined after they exited the water. Obviously they were all good or I'd kick his butt. Although the fisheries were really good to them and gave them measuring instruments, books etc but also said they had watched them for 3 hours! Good to see them around!!!
  13. That's gold! Thanks for sharing blackfish!
