  1. The raiders have a habit of upsetting teams. They are very unpredictable as to when they are going to turn up to play! They did the other night. As for Monday, ummmm I think the odds say it all both $1.91. Should be a great game! Cheers scratchie!!!
  2. Thanks for the feedback champ!
  3. I don't know what makes me more upset? The poor form of my tigers or the fact that souths are a good chance of winning the premiership? Cheers scratchie!!!
  4. Hi guys, After reading a few posts of people wanting to know if there's any good fishing apps out there, I think I've found one. It's called "hooked on fishing mate". It's by #%$%^&(* who in his own right is a pro fisho. It has the usual fishing requirements like, radar, swell etc. but it also has a fishing log that you can keep track of your catches, as well as an almanac button that predicts the best time of the day in your chosen area to fish. I find this amusing but am yet to try it. The almanac, is based on the best time, tide, moon phase and barometer! Anything that helps land a good fish, I say! Would like to hear your feedback if you have it already, or if it helps your fishing! Cheers scratchie!!!
  5. Nineworlds, that is a very lazy bait fisho! I normally do that while chugging down a few ales! Lol Cheers scratchie!!!
  6. That is massive!! Makes my trumpeter whiting up here look like white bait! Sure it's not a bonefish? Lol. Thanks for sharing mr. Groper! Cheers scratchie!!!
  7. That certainly is a monster trev! Would have been a great fight. I caught one at 45cm last week and thought it was a kingy too! And releasing it for someone else to have a go, top job!! Cheers scratchie!!!
  8. They make great live bait!! Cheers scratchie!!!
  9. Just the move from Melbourne to Sydney is a positive one! Lol. If you plan fishing out of botany, there are heaps of raiders that work that area. There is some great info on this site for that area too. Just seek and you will find!!! Good luck with the move and happy fishing! Tight lines, Cheers scratchie!!!

  14. Well done mr fish. For most people that is a Jew of a life time, yet that is the first one you caught. It smashes my first of 22cm and about 200gm lol. Well done young man! Cheers scratchie!!!
  15. Never seen a Jew do that before! Sticking his tongue out ay! Well you had the last laugh! Lol Nice fish!!! Cheers scratchie!!!
  16. A memory for me that has always burnt deeply in my mind, is the day I was on camp at Stewart house, curl curl. I was about 11 and the teachers took us fishing at narrabeen lakes! I casted a handline off the embankment with prawn baited and after about 5mins... Bang, I'm on. Trying to retrieve this fish, I can still picture it zooming up and down the lake and after what seemed a lifetime up comes a bream that went 40cm. That night the chef at camp cooked it up for me and it was amazing. This is what hooked me on fishing and 27years on I still get that same feeling when I'm hooked into a good fish! Tight lines, Cheers scratchie!!!
  17. Hi, if you look at the second post in this section, there are 6 pages from raiders on jewfish tactics. You should get a lot out of it. I did. Cheers scratchie!!!

  21. Jewstalker, reading your post made me feel excited and then sick! Now I'm sitting here thinking of all the ones that I have had zoom off and then lost them due to errors! I understand when nibbles said my condolences! Although, it's better to have hooked and lost, than never hooked at all. Cheers scratchie!!!
  22. When it peels line off a decent rod set up! Then it's a snapper!! Cheers scratchie!!!
