What good weather we have been having Tuesday morning in the early hours did the bolt to Browns. Beautiful morning with hardly any swell managed to get to Browns in just over an hour. Electrics down and before we knew it we had our first hookup. By lunch time we managed to land 3 blue eye, dropped a few including jemfish. Heard reports of YFT so headed another 9 miles east. 2 other boats were already cubing and 1 other trolling. Don’t know what the boys on the troll got but one of the fellas cubing picked up 2 35kg YF & 2 albacores. Soon we were on and landed an albacore close to 10kgs. The other boat seemed to be live baiting and managed to pick up bigger fish. Wouldn’t be off the 50kg mark for 2 of the fish they caught. Started heading in around 5:30 and was back at the ramp at 6:45pm Beautiful day out there so if you can sneak a fish head out as I think a lot of people will be out this weekend whilst this good weather lasts. Hi fellas looking at investing in a downrigger but seem to be confused as to which model I should go with. I'll mainly be trolling in the harbour/s and a bit offshore on the closer reefs. Gents for the first time we held an Anzac service at the Auburn Gallipoli Mosque which is a Turkish mosque located in Auburn. Its the first of its kind. After the service we held again for the 1st time a Citizenship ceremony for new Australians at the mosque. Hi Kikila better luck next time I was out as well yesterday and managed only 3 whilst another friend managed over 5 with biggest at 75cm Tunks park is an excellent ramp but too far from the action. There are too many no wash and 4knot zones so it takes ages to get to the grounds. Rose bay is always the best choice as far as proximity is concerned. Try this ramp it is much closer to all the main spots fro bait and fishing Check your PM mate AdamK

mate, all the usual spots for kingies in summer. most markers are producing fish thanks Kikila, it's nice to be back. yes that was me Ivan. I had my 8 yo with me as well that day. It was a mistake chasing those choppers in the swell, geez they were big swells. My son ended up getting sick after we managed a thumber of a squid. used him for 3 baits and got busted on monster kingies. pulled the plug at 9am as the boy started to burley up. took another 2 virgins out last sunday as well. managed 5 keepers and about 6 throw backs. pulled the hook on several fish on light gear and got busted up on a few bigger fish. the big ones are out there, just got to get into them Adamk

Hi all it's been a while again since I last posted. Hope everyone is well hit the harbour last Sunday for an early start on squid and kingies. slow start to the squid but by 6am managed enough for a shot at some kings. slow start to the kings as well until we hit a fav spot. Total tally of 4 kings, 60cm, 62cm, 70cm and a fat beast close to 90cm's. Picked up the 2 larger fish on my 4-8Lb bream gear with 10lb iron braid. top stuff the last 2 fish, managed to get it on video as well AdamK

well, just thought I'd say hello after my absence of 3 months or so from Sydney. I see there are a lot of new members. Hi to all I thought I'd start with a report up from Port Stephens with the assistance of Byron (thanks mate, really appreciate the tips) however, last weeks storm and strong winds did not allow us to get out Maybe next time I'm out there. i was surprised to see how murky it was. I don't think we've had rain up that way for atleast a week now hopefully it will start to clear up Adam

An unscheduled day off yesterday got me ichin to go out with the boat before I sell the boat. A 6.40 launch @ mooney mooney and we were on our way. First stop tried our luck at the racks. The tide was very high and unfortunately the fishing was very slow. These racks generally fire on the last of the runout. Second stop was bar point for a jewie bash. Anchored around the marker and started to jig 4†BM’s around for zilch. Third stop was a bolt to an area I luv to fish a lot. Just past Spencer we started flicking BM’s and grubs and soon were onto fish. Nothing to write home about apart from one solid bust up I had then a 40cm fat specimen that Steve got. This bream wrapped Steve around a fallen branch so we had to bring up the branch before netting the fish. excitement while it lasted. As the tide was starting to run out we decided to go back to the racks. Unfortunately the water was still high and there wasn’t much activity apart from sight casting to several bream that were just not interested. Total tally 9 bream and a fat 65cm flattie on a Tank S Beautiful day on the water and I also have the sunburn to prove it Sorry no pics as it was an un prepared trip just one point, the water colour throught the mooney area up past spencer was a murky brown colour. I don't think we had that much rain to effect the area. Everywhere we went the water was just brown Adam
