    New Toy

Well done Dave. Awsome combo Cheers Lee
  2. gave them a call and they have the reel i want. I am also getting them to order in a 6500EXP to compare against. I have to look at spool capacity as well so it depends on gear ratio v's spool capacity. Its hard to do a deal with the tournament stuff from daiwa as they have a set price to sell it at and if he dealer sells it cheaper then what daiwa have advised, then the dealer can loose their tournament status and not be able to sell them any more. Its hard to find a good price both here and overseas. Cheers Lee
  3. Croz, i really wanted the z6000gt due to the high gear ratio of 6.1 ( i think ). EXP only has 4.3 ( i think ) and even though it has a big spool capacity when spooling with braid i can easily get 600 yards onto the gt. Plenty enough for me. Cheers Lee

This is Daiwa's first spinning reel with saltiga engineering that is not actually called a saltiga. Awsome reel though. I'm thinking of getting the 6000gt saltiga in the not to distant future. Cheers Lee

I received a nice little call today from the boat dealer explaining that my newly awaited boat may be another 2 weeks off arriving. :-mad2 This is really starting to p*ss me off now as I may have to wait 3-4weeks before I get the boat after its fit out. Rod Holders.

Ho Jo, I prefer the stainless items. I have heard people mention that the plastic versions crack due to UV. I just think its better to be safe that sorry. Agree with the other guys about tethering your rods down. Good idea Bashir about the dog leads. Will have to get some. Cheers Lee
