Definately wouldnt mount it just using silicone or sika Do it the proper way youll probably wont wana move it after youve installed it any If you do fibre glass isnt expensive at all to repair Its not going to wreck your boat it was was meant to be installed with bolts thats why it has holes in it?

Get a small deep cycle battery 4o bucks from bias I think There designed to be drained n recharged Cheers mate

Ive owend two mercs over the years now a 2oo5 25hp 2 stroke and currently a 4ohp 2oo8 model lightning xr never had a problem with any of them but both are and were looked after meticulously GO THE MERC Awesome motors specially for the price of em

hey guys just thought id let yous know they have a sale on flea bay for 37 bucks or something for the same leds i got but i paid twice as much 12 months ago paired em up with a 5 dollar dimmer and theyve been going strong for a year now and piss easy to install just put in boat leds in the search n youll see em straight away

Ive done all my boats with paint stripper and a angle grinder with wire brush attachment Wont pay money to anyone if I can do it myself Give it a go mate really satisfying in the end Cheers
