  3. Hi all, i never service the reels. But I try to lubricate them by myself when i feel the reel 's a bit stuck. Unfortunately, I lost the spring part of the bail when Im trying to lubricate it. i have to bring it back to my tacxkle shop to order the part for me. Actually I'm not sure if I did the right maintenance and wondering if there's any book available to teach u how to maintain fishing gears. Cheers, Phil

  5. Hi PeterS, Saw there's a hatch on the deck of your boat. Just wondering if it is an underfloor live bait tank or kill tank? Quite interest what is the configuration of underfloor live bait tank. Also wondering what boat u got? looks like a big vessel as I saw u got an 140 hp outboard. Mine is Stacer 525 and still thinking how and where to install a live bait tank (plumbed). Cheers, Phil

  7. Hi Yarraone, Where did u get your 2m pole anchor light? Is that retractable? Mine is not long enuff and lower than the bimini top. I had this pole light when I bought my used boat from previous owner. PM me if u would not like to advertise the shop. I also hope that national park install some lights near the ramp and jetty and use our annual pass contribution wisely. Cheers, Phil

  9. Hi all, There's a place called Armory Wharf somewhere in between silverwater or newington (actually not sure which suburb belong to) have a lot of king size bream. The place is part of Parramatta River and assume its heavy polluted. Its so easy to catch them by just using handline with bread or smelly old bait. Find this place when picnic gathering with friends at that place. But pls catch and release only or u may be poisoned with dioxin if u take them on diet. Cheers Phil

  11. Hi all, I'm just thinking to install a headlamp on my boat to illuminate the waterway during nite navigation. I almost crashed to the moored vessel while i'm navigating back to apple tree bay boat ramp after have a nite fishing session last monday. Just wondering if it is allowed by regulation? Also I found out this boat ramp is so shit that there's no street light near the ramp and its so hard to find it during nite time. If its allowed, where is the best location for the installation of headlamp? Any pix for your configuration? Cheers, Phil.

  17. Just under the "fisherman's rock" that Bennoz refer, there r plenty of yellowtails. Use smallest long shank hook with any kind of bait will do. Cheers, Phil

In this case, Long Reef is definitely a place where bommies everywhere as u can see the rock platform extend so far away from the coast and u will see them in low tide obviously and totally disappear in high tides.   24. Hi Jeff, u mean u can't tie the braid directly to swivel? I did it all the time as I dunno how to tie a knot for 2 line to join together. So what's the best proposal to join the leader with braid? Cheers, Phil
