  1. I think anywhere of the rocks will be good you can only test it really i given it a miss way to expensive with loosing tackle and all .... but when your on its good .... just remember too keep it safe an let someone know where your going and how long your gonna be if your going alone, or take a friend and a mobile phone rock fishing can be really dangerous and lots of people die evry year from it ...RIP to our fallen comrads.....
  2. sure ... at terrigal there is only 1 boat ramp it shouldnt be too hard for you too find park at the ramp, head around the rocks from the northern side i go to the safest looking spot on the north eastern side depending on the swell i was using 20lb line on a 12ft rod with an egg beater cause you need to be able to pull them up over the rock face which is about 1-2 metres i had a bottom sinker rig and lost quite a bit of tackle there is probably a better way to do it but there you go ... i hope thats enough info for you... if not let me know and ill try find a map for you...

  11. Oh a friend of mine who catchs them all the time said ettalong is a real good spot if ya go at night you can just catch em in a net the location is east north east of from the main shops just head east down the road there probably about 100metres or so and there is a boat moring place i believe you will see a sign that that indicates this on your right the sign should say "andersons boat shed" head down to the water and off ya go. Night time is best he says with a torch and a net. Ha you can then head out for some jewie action afterwoods with the liveys lol.

  14. Does any one know of any good beach spots here on the central coast I live in Gosford ive been out quite a few times with nothing to show for it had a good day the other day with some samon at the entrance but was hoping someone knew of some other good spots what time of the day and what tide is best. Any thing will do im new to the beach fishing thing but i do like it. I wouldnt mind landing a monster dewey.
  15. Went out there at dawn yesterday I was attempting to catch some live tailor in the bay for bait before the sun came up but had no luck so I bought some pillies and hit the beach. 20minutes in i got my first hit It was a samon a lot of fun to play especially with my dads passed down beach rod 15 foot with an alvey and about 700metres on 9lb line i was hoping to catch deweys but samon will do i caught 3 in all on 1 small bag of pillies one 65cm, 64cm and a 62. So if ya want to check it out now i think now is the time.
