I thought 55cm were big, so I went back and had another crack, 61!!!!! And a 59, It took off like a king, 6lb line, I lost about 100m of lines, and I was shiting myself, but I had it under eventually. Luckily another fisho mates has his landing net, or else I would have lost it,. started at 12, finished up at 3.15pm Another day another fish, lucky I didn’t have to carry the fish since I have a mate who eats fish😂 The salmon were caught out of no where, so unexpected. once again, burley hard, burley strong happy days

Dropped the kids off and started at 10am, fish were on until 12.30, stupid forecast with light wind!!?? That’s bull, winds were easily 25knot, anyway ended up with my personal best Travelly, a odd white drummer and some more travelly around the 35-40 mark. fishing is fun, carrying the fish back to the car and driving to neighbour with fish ain’t😂

im a local, and i can there u that spot holds flatty, and try fish high tide, garfish and mullet during summer, kingie also come by now and then along with good size tailor

Just the harbour, rose bay/ parsley bay, high tide it’s better, the run out tide, I fish very light 6lb lines, and a small hook and I toss my bait out/prawns and I burley every 2-3minutes to attracts the fish to where I cast

Bream are not massive, last weeks I managed one over 40, this weeks where around 28-34

Yeah, bait fishing and land base, don’t have a boat, strange thing is. I catch more then I go out on a boat😂 but obviously with a boat you can chase and move around to find fish, School prawns as bait, and I don’t bottom bash, drift the bait down slow. So there’s less then 1% chance that I’ll hook a flatty, the bait will get taken by small fish or a decent too water fish before it hits the bottom.

Long story short, got Monday off and I took my mate whose a beginner out for a session, we arrived late! Since I have to drop the kids off to school before We head out, got to our spot at 10am, by the time we set up and started burley it was 10.30! I also bump into another 2 mates who started fishing from 5am! I managed 7 fish in about 2.5 hrs, most of my time were spent on teaching my mate how to fish, while my other 2 mates finished up early, think they had close to 20😂, I only took 5 home and gave it to my neighbour

Haven’t posted in ages, no boat and land base, usually bag out but only managed 8, got reefed by 2, overall a good day out as usual, started at 10am n finished at 1pm. 40cm+ bream and T👌. All fish are donated to people in need😂 strange we don’t eat anything beside the one from the deep blue sea
