    Nice catch, I’m new to beach fishing. What rig do you use champ?? And also 8lb line should be more then capable to land a 50+cm unless beach fishing is something different 🤣

    good to be out Bob, if your doing burley and you happen to attract a school of fish, toss a bait in with the burley unweighted, from pass experience, back when i was fishing on a boat, i remember one time, we were burleying with pillies, and a school of kingie came, but not of them were taking the bait on sinker, they will smash all the pillies drifting down, and we switched to a hook and no sinker and drift with just a chuck of pillies and we managed to hook them. might be worth while to give it a try next time~

    Hi guys just organised a trip to Ulladulla and I would some advice are there crabs around the area? Prawns or squid etc? I’m staying around burille lake, I don’t have issue catching fish, but just want some other things to do if there’s something like that around the area. thanks sam

    Damn right. I’m got a long way to master the art of squid, I’m a noob. Tried at gymea at night for arrow, if I’m lucky I end up with a few if not. Then peanuts 😂 have u tried over there at night or morning?

    Yeah it took off like a train, the drag were just set right. Had to slowly drag it back to avoid snapping my line.
