Hope the recovery is going well Stumpy (Sorry, couldn't find an emoticon with only one thumb up! Oops, sorry again, I promised myself I wouldn't mention thumbs in this post!) Anyways, if it helps with the bass playing, I can maybe source you a 2 stringed, 5 fretted bass! One of my former band mates once said he was going to get me one! Probably had something to do with my playing style in the early days!!

Great thread, and a good excuse to add my first post in a while. Been busy workin' all over the state. Anyhoo, KW367 is my number plate, and boat rego. The K stands for Keith (my real name) or Kenny (my nickname, long story). The numbers are my birth month and year (you do the math!) My son's handle PJ stands for Patrick James...so there you go!

Well done Mitch, that's awesome! PJ also scored his first goal ever yesterday in Under 6's. Took him a season and a half to get it!! I KNOW Mum and Dad are very proud of you! I don't know which feels better, seeing the team you coach improving as players and having their first win, or seeing your son get his first goal!

I think any reputable dealer would either do the work in the first place OR not charge for it. If neither was the case, I'd be complaining long and loud until they rectified the situation. THEN I'd go elsewhere next time.

PJ and I might make a return to the Hawkesbury on Sunday, if the weather is good. It's been a while, what with the 's horses and Mother's Day, the odd christening here and there. Let me think, you hold the rod at the blunt end don't you, the one with the winding thingy attached???!!!

Hi Raiders, Just a reminder to anyone wanting to fish the Hawkesbury on Sunday that the Bridge to Bridge boat race is on and exclusion zones are in force between Dangar Island and Windsor from 8.30am till 2.00pm. This basically means that unless you live on this part of the river and can only get there by boat, you ain't allowed on it! If you want more info, ring NSW Maritime on 9477 6600.
