hi all i was just wondering if anyones heard of dora creek? where is it? my got a uncle and aunty who just moved there on the water with there own jetty and boat. we've been invited there and was wondering about the place.?fish would i catch?water, ocean?river?type of tackle etc etc any advice or knowledge would be appreciated cheers damien

i usually rig up as for normal beach fishing and leave the popper free to run up and down the main line with a swivle to let it slide up and down easier. this then just sits in the surf and bops up and down with the wave action. not sure if that makes sense at all but hope it helps? as for rock fishing im not sure but theres only one way to find out. let us know how you go, id be interested to see how it does too. Ray, i been up to the entrance a few times the last few weeks to fish at the mouth on the northern side. usually i fish the beach areas if up there. im not sure if its because of the holidays but im disgusted at the amount of rubbish around that area from the carpark to the mouth of the entrance. and in saying that there are a few bins in plain view. im not sure also how many times yesterday my feet were tangled in fishing line left on the sand also.

hahaha. i know hat you mean steve. i have alot of plastics that i used to buy that just sit there since i discovered the gulps a few years back, now there are gulps everywhere, in the house, in the car, in the garage. but i still like to try new ones from time to time. i dont think anythings close to gulps though. (for now)

ive got a couple of tubs. the leak is a problem and ive tried several ways of opening them. i bring them along only when fishing out of a boat (which does happen much) as they leak through my bag when landbased and if theres ants around i found they love it too. apart from that they are great and i have caught bream and flatties so far off em but i buy alot more packs then tubs

i bought a pack of those new squidgy's pro range and gave them a go today. i got the pacific pearl 70mm flickbait ones. i used the little sach of stuff they have in it but had not even a bump. i was using burkleys gulps before and after with plently of action. has anyone tried or had any luck with the squidgy's new pro range yet?

hey all went to the entrance early this morning for a flick in the north side of the bridge. snuck out of bed at 3am before the woke up. fished from 5:30am-10:30am. 10 flatties. 2 kept and a few just under and the others babies. 3 bream. babies. 3 tailor on the 20-25cm mark. 1 snapper. baby. was going to stick it out longer but the wind had picked up and the amount of people still there fishing so i decided to call it a day with the two flatties in the bag. got a pic of them if anyone can post for me? cheers all Damien

great work autocad. my 2year old daughter caught her first last year. its in the fly and lure section under the post "pumpkinseeds first fish on plastics" (not sure how to put up the link if someone can do it) whiting on plastics and on a pink shakespere barbie rod down at gladesville. its great when they get their first fish and is un explainable how proud you are when you love fishing yourself hey......... keep it up. maybe we should have a junior reports section on here for the kiddies?????

hi all, im thinking of heading up to the entrance early tomorrow morning and fishing the north side of the bridge either side depending on where i choose at the arrival. has anyone got any suggestions? is it still too busy up there? cheers

hi all. i got some relos from overseas here who are keen for a fish this week. im based in sydney and was thinking of going up to the entrance and hiring a tinny or two for half a day or more. does anyone have any spots where we can hire boats and get a productive feed mainly on plastics? PM me if you got some boat hire places so as not to post up here. cheers all.
