  1. G'day Fishraiders, We have a big battle on our hands lads,be it now or sometime in the near future. The push is on and we need THOUGHTFUL discussion. I believe that change to some degree is inevitable. However we cannot sit back and let decisions be made by people who are illinformed.Decisions that may affect many people , their livelihoods and their recreational needs need to be well thought out before major changes are made. Constructive debate and information needs to happen.I can see that we have the members with great experience and foresight to make an impact on any debate that will ensue. Cheers BART
  2. GREAT PICS THERE WARNIE !!! Always an advantage to have the camera handy when needed. CHEERS BART.
  3. Fished the river on Saturday. Recreationally only. Most of the fisho's had a quiet day. My offsider and I landed a few, however we pulled the plug when the wind came up around 11.am. Disappointing. CHEERS BART.
  4. NO WORRIES ROBERTA, The fish are ok. There was a pod of dolphins swimming up there under the bridge the other day. A good sign. The biggest danger is the boaties out on the water. They will kill you quicker than eating the beautiful fish in Sydney Harbour. Enjoy, Cheers BART

  7. Spent a week at Durras Lakes many ,many, years ago. ( 50 ) with my parents and cousins. They were out spearing GROPER off the islands if I can remember. Lovely spot, and there were lots of roos around at the time as well. Will have to call in there some time in the future to reminisce. CHEERS BART.

  9. Chris, I did not ask him that question, however I would say that it is his equivalent to our wire trace that we use. I fired enough questions at him about everything from politics to Irish immigration that fishing was not my priority at the time. At times I think I talk too much . Cheers Bart Hi Ben, He has a few Asian friends who jump at the prospect of eating carp. Obviously they enjoy eating them. No restrictions mentioned. Cheers BART

  19. There will always be the mugs who are too lazy too S--T. I launched at Ermington yesterday and was disappointed at the amount of takeaway food containers etc left on the boat ramp and surrounds by those persons too lazy too S__T, All it takes is a little effort and a minute of their time to walk to the bins that are nearby.I spent a few minutes of my own time putting some of their rubbish in the bins. Bye the way love the pics. OH! AND THE DUNNIES WERE LOCKED THIS WEEKEND. CHEERS BART.
