that's it...im throwin away my yabby pump and stockin up on bonnies..hahaha..nah just kiddin...havnt caught them on bonnie but we do get big ones on half pillies or pilly fillets off blacksmiths breakwall...we use size2 or 4 hooks ganged...its like a miniature tailor rig...rick

ive landed large tailer/ Spanish/cobes/longtails from both spots..lures and bait..the first spot out the front I got a small black on a brass lure back in 81 bout 35kg...there are also plenty of school jew at your feet in both spots and bream galore...rick

Hungry head is the next headland up from crescent 1km south of the gap at hat between the point and beach is known as the jew bite its also known as kemps corner ive probably only fished it 150 times in the last 40yrs so i know the place well...metals are best 85grm or bigger or livies under torpedo cork yakkas an slimys in front of south east point longer gaff is better but you can work fish south round point into little bay and wash em up enough for shorter gaff suss out google last point lookin down beach to crescent...rick

hat head is the best ledge for spinning..hard to get livies and the current runs hard round the point..live baiting is best done off s/east pt of hungry head just south of town..take garbage tip rd.look on google southern rd to the gap turn right....swr is a better prospect for groper walk eastward from jail area..hard to spin there better from boat...rick

ethanol is a nono in boats moisture turns ethanol to glug and blocks everything...rick

get rid of yellow for sure but make sure you go with a matt finish or you will still get glare and reflection...rick

What size jig compared to your sp ? I only use 1.8 and 2.0 in estuary...2.5 in ocean...rick

22ft of water just off a rise that goes up to 8ft...nearly always get a couple of big girls from there only one on sat though..rick

we could oly fish up to the sandflats behind Swansea...lake proper not channel...I get some crocs in the channel on livies baz..best ever was 23lb no length back in the old days haha...rick

websters only go to a 5.0mtr as far as I know..they arnt for sale very often anyway...broadys with singles work..but you lose the maneuverability of twins...best bet if price is right take it for a run..if you like it you will know if its what you want..you cant tell by lookin at em...rick

unless your hitting max revs early and have heaps of throttle left goin to s/s is no real benefit..unless you want to go up or down in pitch to change your handling...rick

plus one on sugapens..also small 50/65mm clear poppers even nonames cheapies work over shallow sand or weedbeds expect whiting bream flatties....early mornings are best around our area...rick
