  3. 2 lures that i would recommend you take for your trip that will catch big fish anywhere are a Rapal X-RAP30 deep diving minnow in blue mackerel or bonito pattern and take at least one, 6 to 8inch pink coloured jet head trolling skirted lure with a fairly heavy weighted head & rigged with a single 10/0 mustad hook.Run it way out the back up to 40 or 50 metres & hold on as tuna, mahi mahi & wahoo will smash it if they are in the area. Goodluck & hope you get some nice fish!! cheers Steve

  18. Most fish can taste great if treated well when caught, cleaned in salt water & cooked the right way. Suprisingly one of my favourites is slab of freshly caught Albacore, cut in slices, marinated lightly in sweet chilli sauce, soy sauce & honey, then on the hot plate for a couple of minute's. Awesome!! doesnt taste too fishy, but it doesnt taste much like chicken to me either:1prop: cheers Steve
  19. Well done on some great sessions in a few different spots on the north coast. Top size estuary perch & bream as well.
  20. The top 2 colours in the lure range you have there hodgey would work well on bream & flatties around the area's i fish in botany bay & the georges river for sure. Those type of colours are always consistant producer's for me. Mate any lure that can pull 50 fish has to be good & around $12 each is great value as well. cheers Steve

  24. I know how you feel, had a couple of nights out on the hawkesbury without a hairtail in sight & even between a few more boats than the 3 that where there on saturday.Been like that for a few years now,way to hit & miss for me to sit out in the cold most of the night for no bite's.dont bother going anymore,it is sad but as they are top fun & a great fish to catch when they are on,especially when they are good size fish. Well done on giving it a go anyway in this weather!! cheers Steve
