  1. Mariner pictures of the boat will come, firstly this has to be finished before the new second hand boat is purchased. Brickman yes M8 shes a HQ 307 Chev bored to 60000, NO its not 2pack lol, its the undercoat for the mirrorchrome! Geoff what would you like 2 know? if you PM me i can give you details, I can tell you that it is the only one tonner in Australia with lambo doors
  2. Havent driven the beast for 6yrs, the end is around the corner!
  3. Wonder what the real Emma looks like lol!
  4. Well im a bit of an R/C freek so i have two choppers, 1 car, 2 slope soarers(zaggis) and 2 electric Corsairs both badly smashed at 120kph into the ground lol, So depending on the weather and wind direction ill Fly in and up to 50 kn winds, also surf and currently restoring/rebuilding my car and engine a HQ Ute with a 307 Chev bored out 60000! Also thinking of building a R/C Game Boat. So i have heaps to do.
  5. Considering there has been ample fish to boat and release, reminding you that you can take up to 7 fin per angler anyway why would you in the first place. Changa there are thousands of responses to this question as it takes into account all fish that are landed, me personaly when it comes to any fish i only take what i will eat that night or the next day, sometimes i will take a few more for the neighbours but have gone of that because some were waiting to long to eat good fish so why give it to them if they wont eat it, rather see it swim away, some fish like a huge flatty over 60cm i will release straight away because their offspring are worth more than 1 big fish, cant remember the stats for these big breeders or their offspring rate, marlin T&R, will not boat one unless totally RS. Cannot fathom why some people must catch heaps and freeze it, to me its a waste and greedy. YFT freezes very well it actually enhances the flavour. Another thing the tuna charts for the east coast would have to include the two types of YFT we have, the deep oceanics vs the inside shelf. Also, dolphin fish the larger the more the cat next door gets, just on size are the best to eat i reckon. Is a photo better than a dead fish?
  6. Aero i removed it myself after 2nd thought all good! Hey at least the carpark wasnt to bad this year lol!
  7. Robbielites, cmon m8 the aussie dollar can buy anything lol!
  8. Hey Changa dont even think half the boats out there would have a tag pole, they are all capture lol. I think Ron is the only one ive heard of with some t @ r so far?
  9. OK You have just won the 50 million powerball draw, what boat are you going to get? As for me my Luhrs 31 open must be able to fit onto the mothership, then im off around the world to fish every possible place known and unknown to man! Then id buy Fiji and turn it into a Fishraider Halfway House.
  10. Stewy unfortunately theres not much common in sense lol. I understand that some boats follow others out etc but usually it is pre arranged, in the case with you im sure you would have informed glenn of your intentions. Ask him what happened the other day if he remembers. If you wish to fish next to a boat at least contact them by radio on a calling channel then go to a working channel and talk as much crap as you like. Slinky thats why i never go on a bottom bash charter! We have to start somewhere, M8 i seriously go fishing sometimes eg take the harbour, picture this... the kingies are on you head towards the cakes and there are 941 thousand boats all fishing within handshakes distance, i honestly feel sorry for the first bloke that was there! Dont even wanna start on Trevally Alley, 22 boats on top of each other the best ive seen. The Harbour and the ocean are bloody big expanses of water and thats only whats on top, so why pull up next to someone? arent they out there to for a bit of peace and quiet and maybe a feed. Yes we all must think would we like it done to us?
  11. M8 what a great shot, they are awesome arnt they!
  12. Gday all just with all the happenings going on with the YTF at the moment, i thought it might be wise to inform you of " Etiquette on the Mount " Fortunately over the last couple of weeks it seems quite a few vessels have headed to the mount in search of YFT and some skippers have had no idea whats goes on, so please: Dont steer into someones burley trail, in other words stay well clear of the back of a boat, if u see a boat sitting there they may well be sharking and youll cop more than a spray from them. Dont park in someones Burley Trail DONT pull up and start fishing next to another boat, its not Molineaux Pt If a boat is running a spread for gods sake dont cross the back of the boat. Last but not least respect the radio and dont use it for abuse. Sorry but needed to say something about the issue, have seen to many boats pull up behind respected boats and start fishing, not on!
  13. James from what ive read they are the grouse bait for yft and also kingies, have had success using them on kings.
  14. Catchin a fish is a bonus, just being out there is the go!
  15. Gday all got back from Browns around 630pm. Headed out this morning around 1030am, light showers through the heads then that was it. Swell SSE ABOUT 1-1.5M, wind around 10kn. A few boats around and some well spread sse of Browns. Water seems to have cooled down a bit and is not the glorious colour of the last week or so. Began cubing and cubing and cubing. Not much on the radio only a few fin landed. 1 boat headed home around 200pm 8kg of bait lighter. Kept cubing and cubing and cubing no chat on radio except cya later fellas 15kg of pillies lighter. We left at 500pm only saw 1 fin back at the ramp easy 60kg. It appears they have finned out down to Kiama way. All in all a very quiet day out same goes for a lot of other boats.
  16. Big-Banana i understand that, but i was wondering if anyone used another line class indicative of the reels use maybe a lighter class on a heavier reel not like 15kg on a 50w lol. Nectic how do you find the Stella heard nothing but great reports.
  17. Just wondering what Game Reels you have whether they be TLDs, Tiagras or Internationals. What sizes do you all have? What line class do you run off them? And what are your experiences in performance with said reel/s?
  18. Thanks Paradox came over as breaking news on Channel 9 last night, just saw a bit more on the news, three are in hospital in Bega, unfortunately 1 couldnt be revived. Thoughts and wishes to those involved.
  19. Boat capsized se of Bermi , 1 dead 2 missing, all from NSW, 600pm news.
  20. Bar Up and Seagoon, i hope that before you have named the boat, that you performed the proper ceromonies concerned? Bad Karma if you have not done so !
  21. 500 fathoms, caught on 15kg by jack, 1 went 53kg the other two around 45kg
  22. Thanks guys, ok.....mmmm but i like the chair, looks good haha lol, seriously will have to get it on water to see how it functions with and without it. So basically unless im considering 37kg and above tackle wise the chair is of no reel(sic) benefit? Daniel is the main difference between a chair and standup rod the length of the butt?
  23. Gday fellas, just in case anyones interested...spoke to a m8 this morning was out a bit wide of Browns, they managed 3 yellowfin to 45kg, but they showed up quite late at about 500pm, they were cubing and you no what i hate.....When for the last couple of days water has been awesome and you cant get out, sick as a dog monday and tuesday, lol.
  24. LOL, ok guys its a 25ft Huntsman, 260hp inboard merc, and trailable. Preferably would like to fish light, probably 10, 15 & 24kg at the most, have photo but to large to show
  25. Gday Guys, just a few questions for you. So i am going to buy a boat shortly, equiped with a game chair. Now in your infinite wisdom raiders what are your opinions on Bent Butt as opposed to straights, both for stand up and fighting out of the chair?
