mate i caught one like that several months ago near a boat ramp in shallow water... tail gone and looked like an old injury... maybe a prop may have hit her.... -

[dolly was caught on the trawl mate.. using a skirted lure.... covered heaps of ground to get it.. hard work....

yeah mate they are out there.... i got it on a lure.... and it was full of roe.. a female!

cheers mate..... i left some of the fillets at my girlfriends place and her kids started to rip into them.... i managed to retrieve 1 piece of dolphinfish and its got my name on it.. gotta be quick!

Yeah mate we trolled past the outer sydney fad yesterday and trolled along the shelf trying to snare a beakie..... nothing.. plenty of nice blue water though.... seemed very quiet for several hours of trolling...... heaps of dolphins.... we ended up at the plomnk hole and got some jackets.....st least we managed a feed.. tight lines.

hi geoff.. about a year ago when I was down at Culburra on a fishing trip with my mates I saw that same caravan and took some pics too...it blew me away.. what a setup with what look likes alot of personal modifications... would have been good to have a look inside!!

ive hooked one b4 by accident when i had a yellowtail on the hook ....eventually the hook came out... i wasnt game enought to go into the water though and retrieve the hook.. they have big teeth
