Well the weather has been great to enjoy the sites of Jervis bay. Friday was just a scott around to checkout the ramps and make a plan. Saturday and it was up early to head out. By the time I got to murry 's beach ramp the wind was about 15 knotts and a3 m swell. We gave it a great shot with no success. Tried again in the afternoon closer to husky and had a few bites, but, the wind was still around. Easter sunday and we took our time getting sorted and g a ve St georges basin a go. Got to the ramp and the water looks great. Off we goand the wind picks up......we move to get out of the wind and the motor cuts out... So while I have a look we thow in some lines. Well, then my wife says lets have a bite to eat....What is she eating........ A BLOODY BANNANA. .....I grab it off her and thow it away... and what do you know everything starts to come good.. the motor starts, the wind drops. We move over to the re ed f and some broken ground and we start catching some fish. Overall, the day was great, great weather and final total was.... 10 pinki snapper 10 yellow fin bream 3 small trevaly... Hope you all had a great easter.. Well today started of rough as and not lot happened this morning untill we retreated to the husky river. The wind has been blowing all day so not much luck just a few tiddlers.. heading to sussex inlet tomorrow

mine did the same and it is low oil? or air in the ram.. check the oil levels and once you raise it up top up the oil.. you sound like you have a small leak somewhere

Just thought i would share my NEW ink I got today.......

A couple of years ago i did some add on's to my trailer including side steps, side lights and guide rails, as well as sealed LED tail lights.. It has been so much better loading and unloading on my own.. My boat is a 4.8m fiberglass monarch and in the wide or the wrong time can be quite difficult..The guide poles and runners on the side have been brilliant and with a few rollers added I can now drive on and off the trailer.. The lights are never in the water and as you said gives you a better vision when you are reversing down the ramp..

sometimes it is easier to run new wire from front to back I do this every couple of years to make sure

Well I am back home and it was another great year in Fiji.. I managed 4 half day trip fishing and 6 dives amongst the day of relaxing.Weather was great apart from the 4pm afternoon showers. After seeing my local guy that I always fish with it was on.. The reports were not that good , but the locals say I am a lucky fisherman and always bring the fish. The fish caught , I give to the village to feed them all.. Day 1 started a little slow but the it fired up and after only 3 hours we had 4 mahi Mahi and 4 tuna.. Day 2 was incredible, I lost a huge yellow fin, but boated 1 good 15kg yellow fin and ended up with a total of 18 tuna of mixed varieties. Day 3 I took a young boy with me that wanted to fish for the first time. It gave his parents some much need time alone.. Lost 2 big mahi Mahi but we boated a good mixed bag of mahi mahi, rainbow runner, barracooda and tuna Day 4 was my last chance and the weather had blown in but I was sure it would pass, so out we went. 2 hours went by nothing. Then the sky cleared and we were on. tuna were coming in hard and fast. It was a mixed bag all good fish over 2 to 3 kg most of them. Then we got a good Mahi mahi..This just topped my day.. The here it was a very solid hook up and then ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ in a big way.. It was on the big rod with a tiagra 50W 24kg line... All of a sudden during the scream "SNAP" The line had so much recoil it came back at me and I was covered in about 50m of line.. we were geussing big YFT.. All up this last day we still boated 24 tuna and 1 mahi mahi.. I am in FIJI every year around valentines day .. I stay on the coral coast.. PM me if you want more info.. Hope you enjoy the pics
