i was using pilly and squid, other fishermen were using pillies on a standard rig. there was this old guy he said he comes virtually everyday and he tells me he normally picks up 2-3 large salmons everytime. Anyway for me it was bit too ruff and i am going to try deewhy or narrabeen next. anyone care to give me a guide around that area

4 fisherman, all got drenched by semi large waves, on a high tide at 6pm and from 4-8pm caught jackshite!!!! Not happy

few years ago i caught approximately 60 30cm+ blackfish on prawns and later on Prawn heads So try prawns they will eat it. ps it was pouring rain but fairly large waves

i was fishing in palmy the other day and right infront of me was this massive blue thing!!! scared the living daylight out of me as its literally 1metre from my feet!!! I thought it was a shark but uppon closer look it was a massive blue groper! i quickly threw out a squid jig but it swam off

best way to avoid getting splashed is to make it squirt all its ink in the water... To do this all you have to do is slightly raise (ever so slightly) it above the water level so its tentacles are slightly out of the water.. this should induce its defense mechanism... when it does lowever it down to water level... repeat 2-3times until all you see it squirting is water.

Hi Guys/Gals I am new to this forum, I enjoy fishing and I haven't fished in the last 4 years and recently I started fishing again. What fun it is! I caught few tailors in palm beach and squids and hoping to catch those infamous kingy. No boat here so, can please guide me to some fun place where it is PERFECTLY SAFE!! Anyway I live in Blacktown area, so I rather not travel too far 1hour max please :0 Thanks in Advance.
