Sorry about the late posting i have just finished cleaning the fish I had a great day as always with Stewy but it was a bit rude when you invite a mate to a fish cleaning party and get told to *#%& off nice friend.Fiona told me not to wear my clothes into the house she said i stank i could not smell a thing.Stewy next time you tell some body to strike first let me put my safety gear on.Great day thanks again my next posting will be from the US fly out on sunday cant wait to see the BassPro shop in vegas.Cheers Stephen (Reggie the Rabbit)

Yesterday afternoon Stewy and i headed up to Waratah Bay to try and catch me my first hairtail.We went in my boat this trip as it has a bit of cover to escape the bitter winter night air.Conditions were great got into our position about 3.30 and started the berly going. As night fell we were surprised how mild it was.Through out the night we had our chances but could not land a fish.Stewy and I had several hook ups but the fish were to smart for us, Stewy lost one at the side of the boat as he was about to lift it in. Not a happy fisherman.I got a small Jewie about 30cm long on a pillie head.The water was alive with yellowtail thousands of them maybe the hairtail are to well feed.We pulled the pin about 11.30PM Its was so mild we did not put our jackets on. motored back to the ramp and while pulling the boat out of the water with 20cm on go the winch cable snapped.Luckly i noticed their was a problem in the way it was coming up and i slipped the safety chain on before adjusting the winch and then it snapped.Dont fancy swimming after the boat at midnight in 12degree water.No fish to report but as always a great time hit the pillow about 2.00am..Cheers Stephen (Reggie the Rabbit).

Great day on the dam.Ticked off about dropping the fish and my atomic lure,i was not happy from the first cast about the braid,then the only hit all day and it let me down, into the bin back to fireline.All the reports said it was going to be cold but we were dressed correctly and we did not feel cold,plus the cardio workout walking into thommos kept us warm.but some of the gray clouds coming over had us a little concerned.Thanks for a good day out but my family still thinks we are both crazy getting up at 2.00am to go fishing in the frosty blue mountains.they just dont understand.............cheers Stephen (REGGIE THE RABBIT)

As always a great time had by all at raider socials.But it would not happen if we did not have people like Donna and Stewy,A big thank you for all that you do We did not arrive untill saturday morning,but hit the water and had a ball with all the small flathead all on Bloodworm wriggler and my wife Fiona caught her first fish on a plastic.A nice flathead we had a double hook up,i netted hers first.Great weather ,great people cant wait for the next one.cheers Stephen (reggie the Rabbit)

Unbelievable you had to be their,64 cm kingy on a piece of cotton and wraped around the channel marker rope.I just sat back and waited with the net in hand after 20 minute we had the leader out of the water but could not see the fish then off it went again. Stewy you should get in touch with the line maker they will give you a life time supply for your story...I am glad the maritime boat was not around when i was draging the yellow marker into the boat. When landed it was high fives all round photos taken then back into the water.A cup of coffee then back into it.Great day as always cant wait for our next session.

WOW what a day.we were over the moon with the cooks river session then to cap the day off with the crazy session in the bay.Gave my new catania rod a work out and it came through with flying colours.As Stewy said we were stuffed at the end and we drove away from the fish still going crazy in search of a king.Had a great day as alway when fishing with Stewy thanks cant wait till we hit the water again.One of the advantages of doing shift work we can get out mid week without to much traffic on the water. Been out twice this week Donna said she might ban me for keeping Stewy out all day.But i dont think its takes much for him to stay on the water.He has salt water in his blood
