  4. To all my Fishraider friends thank-you all for your kind wishes. My father was a very active man and no sign of ill health. He was in transit to Brisbane to make the final arrangements with his friend for his upcoming trip overseas.when he passed away.It has taken our family by shock. We will be holding his funeral next Friday, and all your well wishes will give my family the strength to get through this sad time. Thanks Stephen ( Reggie the Rabbit)

  6. To the left of the marina that have a huge live tank set up.
  7. My wife Fiona and i went to the boat show yesterday, and had a great day.We came across the South Pacific Windlasses stand, who are sponsors of this site and we meet the wonderful Bernadette.Between her and my wife they ganged up on me and talked me into buying an anchor winch for my boat.Which will work out great as my boat has an opening windscreen which you have to lean through to drop and lift the anchor, which is a pain in the butt as well as my back.It will delivered on Wednesday,The only thing concerning me is how and where to store the rope and chain as it appears that my anchor well will be to small.I am sure i will work something out and look forward to dropping and lifting the anchor at the push or a button.Meet up with Donna and Stewy as well while doing the rounds,Watched the weigh in from the bream comp which Dan and Mick are taking part in (GOOD LUCK BOYS)had a great day hope to post so photos of the winch when i get it fitted. Cheer Stephen
  8. You are so right its a massive BUZZ and i got my first fish on the same SP now you will get the bug and end up with a full bag of different shapes sizes and colours.Keep on flicking cheers Stephen (Reggie the Rabbit)
  9. Good on you Pete.I wish i was with you.As you know i went to the boat show, and spent to much money on some new toys will show you when i figure out how to fit them.Nice blackfish, at the same place? the harbour was great yesterday.Part of the entry to the show was a trip around the harbour for 45 minutes on a rivercat out to south head and back.speak soon Stephen
  10. Greg make sure you ask Stewy to be your Anchor man
  11. Dont know about the fishing but i droped in 2 weeks ago, while in the mountains it was at 24% capsity.
  12. After being on the water all day yesterday in the wind i was ready for round two today as it was going to be a much better day.I got a call from Tide & Knots (Pete)we meet at the boat ramp at 7.30 and hit the glassy water in his tinnie. We anchored in the same place as i was the day before but much better conditions.First cast and my float disappered and landed a nice fat Blackfish.Over the next few hours we added to the bag,and ended up with a bag of 12 fish, 6 each not like the explosive day Pete had last week with Rick when they scored 40 fish. But a nice bag full, and tonight i will be using a new fish cook book i was given. Roasted Tomato,Thyme and Fish Pasta is on the menu tonight. On the way home droped some fish into Dad and the Inlaws keeping in the good books. Thanks Pete for a great day we must do it again SOON. While we were at the ramp cleaning the fish a fellow fisherman not a (Fish Raider) was puting his tinnie in the water, and talking to us at the same time, and not paying attension to what he was doing. He backed his car down the ramp and touched his brakes and his boat slid off his trailer and onto the ramp a couple of metres short of the water. He had removed his safety chain and winch cable lucky for him it was a tinnie and not a glass boat,Only his ego and the bottom of his boat dented.Draged back onto the trailer all was well. But it pays to think what you are doing at the ramp Luckly it was a happy ending..
  13. Dear Stewy i think everybody on Sydney Harbour knows you hate anchoring
  14. Yesterday morning i was jointed by Swordfisherman and Stuball on my boat to attack the well known Blackfish hot spots on the harbour. That was the plan,We were greated by the coldest day this month, and a very stiff wind.We had loads of good fresh weed and planned to fill the esky with fillets. The wind made for very uncomfortable fishing and made it hard to anchor correctly,we fished most of the day and ended up with 4 quility fish before we called it a day.We could not escape the wind but keep one step ahead of the rain.Great day had with good company thanks guys.
  15. Roberta its Still in the salt water section of the river.Sadly the signs at the ramp recommend not to eat fish up hear, lots of run off from factories in gone by days but still great to catch!!!
