hi all just seeing whos planning on headn to the harbour saturday for a hit out at a few decent kings these rats are driving me and making we think what there guna get when they grow up

the one i was looking at is 5.2mtr half pod transom 2beds bait tank factory and welded bait table into transom / transom door and fitted with 90etec i havent been able to see the latest one out they seemed have pick up a bit

evening raiders just cheching to see if any fellow raiders have a formosa plate boat or if anyone knows anything about them im lookn at a 520 super cab they are made like most boats qld any feed back would be good

youre right supporting local guys is important but times are changing lge tackle stores buying power affect pricing on all tackle shops and really hurt the little guys i once bought a box of 10/0 gamakatsu livebait hooks from a favoured shop only 2 find another shop a week later that sold the same thing 21.95 cheaper absolutley blown away i told the other shop owner he said he couldnt buy the hooks that cheap so 10 boxes later i know where i buy my hooks now all bussiness is cut throat these days not matter what you do its a big competitve world out their every body wants a deal and tackle shops want the sale people are more aware of being ripped off the net is great for buying and selling and but theirs nothing like taking it with u i shop at one shop hes been around a while and i always get the deal i want if they really want the sale they will be competitive after all they all sell the same gear its price that sets them apart ............ do buy things at dearer prices because the shop owners a nice guy do u i think not.....

unfortunately the thieves are to busy to read low life bastards they probably tossed it in a bin when they found they cant open it ...thats what shits you...

basically as mentioned b4 i just love going into the shed making rigs and sinkers pulling apart reels having all my gear ready i often buy a box of 50 10/0 hooks and rigg the whole box up while watching tv the misses hates the snippets of leader i leave around..... all rods washed as soon as i get home lite spray as for packing boat i leave everything except the rods tackle box and valuable electrics in boat washing the bugger is the prob as it takes a while i always give a good hose out and flush never timed it but 1hr each way i reckon nothing worse than forgetn something

always used boat shows as a good price what not to pay they all bag each other out.... sales sales if u were talking to a boat salesman at the show and he sold mercury motors he would tell you how great and superior they would be but if he got the sack next week and got a job at a yamaha dealership do u really think he would be spruiking up the talk on mercurys still i highly doubt it most of the dealers just want your cash buyer beware my next big boat when i buy it i can tell you that salesman is going to earn every cent of the sale and il be grilling him on after sales service before he gets a cent theres still a few decent dealers about but they are few and far between ..............................................................

hi all raiders a while ago a fellow raider was doing up his boat from scratch he mentioned that a fellow raider had painted it for him he even posted pics on post it was red if i remember rightly it was a awesome job both paintjob and finished project anyone know who did the painting or who owned the boat i would like to respray lower half of my boat ..i need a little info.....anyone
