hi to all just thought id send you all a pic of a nice 35kg jew taken in the hawkesbury river on sat what a fight what fish ....he was not wasted he was culleted up and enjoyed by the family and the neighbours ...didnt have scales to weigh it so it was weighed at the co.op in brooklyn before the journey home .... cant wait for that 40kg baby to come along they do exist mitchell madness again

concrete a 26mtr long driveway and stencil it and color it and hopefully enough energy to rip the top off a beer during ..and.. after the job sat night looks good for a jew bash energy dependant ...

its a disease i contracted many years ago and havent been able to get the right medicine to give it away ...yet im the only one in my family that enjoys it theres nothing better than it ..next time your out their enjoy the view as much as the fishing a bad days fishing is better than a good days work.....it works for me

well guys i agree with most of you i think personally first you have to find the right area they would frequent secondly the bait must be appealing enough to attract the fishs attention eg noise /color /smell/ ive got jewies on 4mth old yellow tail with freezer burn so the fresh is best thought may not always be the case and last of all the patience i have fished many a time the whole weekend friday nite to sunday morn and have had success on many occasions thru the tides but i think a bit of skill plays a major part in big jew but a few things happen the boat comes alive where on and you pull the hook out or he drops the bait or when youre about to gaff him and he dives for the motor... bust off or my favorite is when youre getting a burnt up from a hand line try it ... all this i believe is your learning curve i made a decision ..about 5yrs ago to chase jew im still learning every trip...but their my secrets hope you enjoy pics

craig i know that spot well the sea plane lands their alot to the restaurant waterways reguarly patrol that stretch and the rescue base is just at the point theiryou always get overtaken their by other boats usually wankers in boats 10mtrs plus drinkn pink champers .. :

fatboy its up to you what you buy i have shimano baitrunners the 6500 and 4500 on wilson live fibre 6.6ft rods they are superb my friend has had the same 6500 for 11 years works like new diawa make good reels to check the gearing a 25kg will destroy a reel believe me ive seen it happen ....grrrr..why go to all the trouble to catch it and lose it due to gear malfunction im not saying spend a fortune but be wary ....goodluck

:biggrin grozzo mate catchin jew fish is like winning the lottery you just never know when that freight train is gunna come i have fished every moon phase over the past 2years and to be honest i personally have found it not a major factor considering i have caught jew to 32kg with a mate in broad daylight and a few 20kg ones as well all i can say is i have found tides more important than moon phases remember to get a 30kg fish imagine how smart that fish is to get that big in the first place there smarter than u think....

mate i feel for u i hope they loose a wheel whilst towing and if you ever see anyone playing around with fellow fishos property eg; trailers rise the mighty GAFF TO THEM and let them know leave our gear alone.......
