hi to all im posting this for my mate glen it was from saturday a fortnight ago had probs with computer and couldnt post but now all good glenn and willo managed four jewies all up with glen getting the big fella at 21kg and one at 6kg but he never had the third arm on to hold it up wilo managed the others at 10 kg and 6kig it was a good after noon had by the boys hope you all enjoy the pics

kings till i die mate shark fishing in small boats is not advisible especially when u are chasing these fellas some sharks are placid in capture others are so eratic you wont believe i have to friends on this site that catch them and lets just say you dont get a choice on size of a shark but a 6fter of the likes of a mako or tiger or a thrasher shark will absolutley destroy your inside of your boat smashing everything on the floor and you probably on top of the seats some carefull planning is needed and a very trusty deckie most big sharks get towed rather than up over the side in small boats ive had thrasher sharks swim around me and haunt the boat for atleast 2hrs before deciding to swim off else where and perform awesome leaps out of water at back of boat before my friend paul the hermit douglas got the shits and rigged a heavy duty set up to capture him il get the photo and post it it went 75kg 12ft wont be long check tomorrow il get photo off him ...

netic i know the feeling its not real good hey especially when all other boats dissapear in the swell hey ive had these thoughts of shitting my self on two occasions once on a charter boat that was 40ft the other time in my own boat ......all good now but then phew.............

hi all raiders with the weekend weather being less than ideal for fishing friday no good saturday no better sunday not bad monday bloody awesome typical my mates birthday was friday with him telling me all week that his birthday fishing wish was to go and nail himself a nice big jew after things being quiet the past 3 trips he was gettin anxious to see the the giant once again so he set off on his mission to get himself his ideal birthday present all i was waiting for was the call to say i ve got him i waited all day no call friday nite the phone message goes off it reads exactly mate i f#@*^? got the mother i got him mate he would have to be 24kilo cleaned im stoked i got my birthday fu@#%* wish ye ha ha after reading his message i was thinkin perfect scenario hey its your birthday its pouring down rain its cold no one about theirs a million other places you could be but not glen he loves it time and time again youre their puttin in the yard s and cause you stuck it out you were rewarded welldone .....all good things come to those who wait..hey.its amazing what comes aboard that tinnie....

hi all raiders just to let you all know theirs a casual fishing comp running in the hawkesbury river this easter long weekend starts friday and ends monday lunchtime entry forms available brooklyn antique shop otherwise known as the squid man entry is 10bucks with the proceeds to the brooklyn vra it should be a great weekend if you have nothing planned or even if your already going their for a fish stop in and get a form in case you get a good catch.....the bloke who has organised this has arranged for the weigh inn to be on monday at brooklyn between 12.00-2.00pm at the ramp area for bbq and a laugh ....theirs a few catergorys like most comps with prizes and trophys hope a few of you support him in what should be a great 1st event

14.0kg u dont see me with many over that had plenty all round ten kg but bigger ones seem to elude me im not one to take credit for fish i havent caught like most people glens right on the money most weeks havent seen anyone come close to him in recent months but as glen knows fishings not all roses week in week out and this is what makes a true fisho accepting the good with the bad.....and keeping things to yourself...

hey im a very diplomatic person i not ask for much but the distances some *%#@HEADS anchor to you is damn rite stupid if either of us hook up your both screwed some people just never think bugger spending 15hrs fishing to have it ruined by a nuff nuff in 5minutes i give up along time ago explaining my reasons for this.... let them learn the hard way by losing a fish or two fairdinkum some of them i could lite their smokes for them serious ...

hi all raiders as i said earlier during the week i was going on wednesday for a mid week bash with my mate the regular spots were off limits we decided new ground or old holes were the order of the day we set out the wind slightly blowing sun just rising it feels good i said to my self as we headed in a bit of survey mode to discover his and mine spots we tried all day the wind came and went all day the weed was ripping thru bogging down lines it was crap we decided to call it a day thinking to ourselves maybe we should of stuck with what we know best our current firing spots oh well nothing ventured nothing gained and it wasnt if we had never caught fish in these spots we just found others and never really went back to them ...anyhow on the way back we ended up finding this awesome hole and drop off we both lit up as we seen it on the sounder with glen reachn for the gps to mark...spotx we both talked all the way home about it like kids and lollys and both agreed that it would hit it friday well friday came and as glen planned operation new hole went into plan it truly wasnt long into the tide when the reel screamed into life after a few hairy moments when he decided he liked the other lines that were out he done the usual u turn for the shore but with the drag done up he was coming aboard he weighed 26.4 kilo whole 22.2 gutted he was in great health and long for his weight and i guess well be going back to new spot and the best thing its unknown 2 the boys for a while anyway .... goodluck all raiders hopefully a mid weeker may be on the cards again soon.....moonie........... sorry about pic quality but i had to scan the photo it was on crappy photo paper spent all my money on fishn gear
