Hey all, For any of you who read jewgaffers post on great time to fish, you would of read my comment about him being right and our night going off mate 11 jew 8 me 0... Well that just wasn't going to stand, wasn't too happy about hooking up and losing out while my mate made it look like childsplay, so we went back the night after and me mate got one, me of course nothing, however this time there was nothing else to be seen... I wish I had taken a photo... But a few years ago I caught a flattie on a prawn, it was the size of my index finger, I couldn't work out why my 'bait' was moving while I was retrieving after not getting any bites... Good report, nice fish... Cheers Ben

Hahaha... I am a Sharky fan myself, so really, I got no grounds to talk about other teams this year, look at the table... However, if there are two teams that I love to hate, its Manly and the Bulldogs... Needless to say, love the refs work... Last two weeks have been great apart from the sharks going from bad to worse. G'day all... To start with, it was definately a shark... because the dorsal fin was out of the water just as he was coming in for the salmon... I was using Tiagra 50W running 24kg tortue and 600lb wire trace!! Tiagra was locked up!! If I had a board with me I reckon he woulda towed me... A few months ago now I hooked up to a whale, the proof: I tell you when locked up this shark made the whales like nothing... If anyone is gonna go down let me know... because round 2 will be on very shortly... Might give it a crack over the next week... Cheers Ben

Hey all... Long time no post... Just thought I would let anyone know that is interested, that there is an absolute monster shark cruising the Georges River... I went for a little flick with a couple of old TAFE mates and decided to take the shark gear for some fun... Well this shark absolutely smashed me... I've seen some absolute monster sharks along the coast and interstate and I have hooked some big ones too... But this... this was something else... Anyone interested just thought I would give a shout out... Was fishing between alfords point and picnic point... And it LOVES dead Salmon!! Cheers Ben

G'day All... As some of you may be aware, last week I posted something, which obviously offended some. The topic was in relation to sharks and fishing for them, I would like to take this opportunity to apologize to all mods, members and guests as I realise I should not have posted it on the site at all. This is a family-orientated site and what I said was uncalled for. The last few weeks everytime I have gone for a fish or a look there has been someone there just blatenly getting in the way and causing havoc, and I vented this frustration, and for that I would like to say sorry. To anyone who read, I did not mean to offend anyone, as I don't think I mentioned any names I was just frustrated and posted without thinking. Once again truly sorry and hope this can be left behind as fishraider and its members move forwards... Cheers Ben
