    Tank Chair

Looks good for beach or rock fishing. Maybe some beer/cup holders in the arm rests. If not beach/rock fishing, it looks like you could tow your boat with it too.
  2. Good on ya BeachAngler, I was waiting on a good reply to that question too.
  3. OK then, I stand corrected. Just never seen cunji as big as described (20cm long and 15cm wide) nor have I had trouble with it coming off the hook when casting. Is there maybe different variations of it?
  4. judging by the description and photo given I don't think it was cunji you had. It's not that big and it's a purple/maroon/dark red colour, and also very tough, doesn't fall off the hook like you say.
  5. Bad luck on the big 1, just means you have to go back and try for him again. The leatheries aren't too bad on the plate either, they're actually one of my mates favourite table fish.
  6. I've got a 2500 Sedona with 4lb braid and quite like it, can't fault it. Having said that, I don't get out fishing anywhere near as much as I'd like to so it hasn't done a heap of work. Agree with what cjchen says about warrranty, pay the little bit extra and buy something from Australia. Good luck with it.
  7. As has been said previously in this thread, everyone has their own interpretation of the rule. I sort of remember talking about this when I done my boat licence course, but that was 12 yrs ago. My understanding is pretty much exactly what the signs say, NO wash, not minimal wash. If your in a small tinnie doing 25 knots then you're not making much wash, but you are still making wash. If you're just idling along with the motor in gear but no revs you're not going to create wash. As the definition posted up said, it's about not causing a wash that makes the moored boats rock around and waves lapping on the shoreline. With all that in mind I would suggest judging each case individually. My 2 cents worth.
  8. I'd definatley recommend going with the tinnie. Any particular reason you wanted a glass boat?
  9. Thanks for the words of encouragement guys. Those pics are down infront of the lighthouse there. It was a bit of a hectic walk down to get there, but yeah top spot once you get down. Only problem then was getting back up, I wouldn't want to do it in the dark. To get the pictures to resize I had to install a program, thats why I was having trouble before but all is well now.
  10. A few pics from camping at Ulladulla in Jan '05

    Burley

For Flatties I don't berley at all, for bream etc, it's not really a case of whats best as everyone has there own "receipe" but most important to have a little of the bait you are using in the berley mix. Most berley mixes I make start off with bread and then add what ever from there. Hope this helps.
  13. How lucky (or unlucky i suppose) can you be? Check this out! http://news.ninemsn.com.au/national/811866...rying-rid-shark
  14. Well said, and how true was this statement? "consider some things and dream about others"
  15. Hi mjacd, is this the type of thing you'd be interested in. Shame it's not a little closer hey, bit of a hike to Armidale. Looks in very good nic though. http://www.boatpoint.com.au/boats-for-sale....aspx?R=7051825
  16. As Hottyscotty has said, both together is best. If it's got to be one or the other, go with the timing, dawn or dusk depending on what you're chasing. Good luck.
  17. I reckon, UEFA What? GO THE KANGAROOS. AND GO COUNTRY
  18. Very well done mate. The lake you talk of is my "local". Have heard of some good catches this season, big crabs too they reckon. Where in the lake did you get yours?
  19. Top fish mate, bloody well done! You'd have to be at Sussex there wouldn't ya?
  20. very very nice fish mate. Can I ask, where is Lake Tinaroo?
  21. I'm no photographer, but that looks like a good shot to me. Especially the sun in the clouds looks unreal, not to mention it's got a guy fishing in the photo.
  22. Congrats on the new gear and good luck breaking it in. Just wondering, how do you insure fishing gear? I'm guessing you are able to claim it on your contents insurance? Do you need to provide receipts for all the missing gear? Never had that problem and hopefully I never do but I don't have receipts for my gear so just curious as to how you went about it. best of luck for the weekend.
  23. Nice looking fish. Are they good on the plate?
