Going away on the 31st to a place called lostock near gresford. We are staying right on the lostock dam. Have read some reports that there are bass there and wondering if any of the bass anglers could help me out on how and what to catch them with? Will have a kayak and be using my bream/flattie outfit. Any suggestions on plastics and hardbodies would be great! Thanks Harry

It might be worth your while to head around abit further to the deeper holes near cockatoo island i sometimes see big schools smashing the surface there goodluck Harry

Went up to lake macquarie friday night hoping for some good days fishing. Woke at 5 on saturday and dropped the boat in at Gwandalan. Headed straight for pullbah island. Set our drift up and worked plastics for about 2 hours with no runs or fish landed. Then headed up to swansea to go to the drop off and fished for a few hours no fish. Wind started coming up so we headed home. Had hopes to fish today but decided against it becasue of the weather conditions. Had a great time but no fish Harry

Heading up to lake macquarie for the weekend, and hoping someone could shed some light on the fishing spots in the lake. I have a boat and willing to travel anywhere in the lake. Ive heard swansea channel fishes good but some depths or gps marks would help. I will have gear to target most species and im also thinking about flicking for flatties on the flats but have no spots. I have also saw some squid being caught in there so do i just look for weedbeds? If you dont want to say it on the post you can pm me Thanks heaps Harry
