  2. Make sure you use a reef pick if anchoring up there. The current flows really fast at mid tide and you can go close to sinking your boat trying to pull up a snagged sand anchor. Been there , done that! have a good time. Cheers Chris

  7. After woussing out for the last few weeks, scanning the forum for any good news to no avail, Ralph and I were getting the Heeby Jeebies from no fishing....... Being grumpy old buggers, we woke up late and had a leisurely breakfast to wash down all the pills and then prepped the boat, hoping it still worked. Put in at Revesby - wonder of wonders NO JET SKIS! WOOPPIE! Tootled round to a few of our favourite spots and things were VERY quiet as expected. Drift after drift, cast number 1072, Ralph says, you better get the net...... Salt N Pepper Fillets for dinner tonight. Well done mate Me....... Friggin Donuts! And it was my idea! Oh well next time....... Chris

  15. Easy Buddy, the water is coming to you.... When there is about 800mm in the backyard, throw in a really stinky burley bomb and wait a few hours. Hunt a few of those frog like lures/SPS on yer heavy gear and see what you get..!!! . If things are slow its not too far to the fridge for a beer. No boat to wash, no chilly drive home from the rock or the beach. You can even take a break and watch a movie on the telly... What could be better? Cheers Chris
