good stuff mate. bad luck about losing the fish on the 12lb gear.
i read about this alot on the forum but what i don t understand is how people are getting snapped.
you guys are obviously running your drag to tight, you should be running your drag to a third even a qauter of its breaking strength.
if there is reef and you really need to stop them you really need to up the line class.
just a thought James

yeah mate the 24th.
ill give you my number througha pm if you end up going

your a roorters fan sorry to here that.
blaming the season on stuart is purely one eyed.
the roosters policy over the last ten years was to poach top players from other teams unfortunately these guys are now old and retired and guess what when those roorters juniors were given a go they flunked.
its beautiful to see and hopefully mr anderson can get em the wooden spoon next year i definately will be partying in bondi junction when that happens.
as for the sharks i reckon they will get the benefits of a fresh new coach who has one grandfinals before and has plenty of grandfinal experience as a player and coach.
goodluck sharkies
go the tigers

Heya, this is DILLIGAF, I saw you last weekend in the big banana out at Brown's. Did you cube the whole time?
We tried fishing the bottom but there was too much current?
I'm going to Brown's on Sunday most likely for a bottom bash and troll going out from Botany
pm me if your still going pn sunday as ill be out there weather permitting
-
hey mate your main concern should be to get the bait down there, so depending on the run you may want to adjust your sizes.
i think there is going to be alot of run tomorrow so maybe you maybe needed some heavier sinkers
good luck

broken bay wide saturday and browns sunday.
weather permitting of coarse.
seems to be blowing hard this weekend
-
my theory is at least you got to see the bugger.
some people have been in similar situations on the beaches and are still wondering what they had.
there were a couple of posts a few months back when something similar happened to a couple of blokes and every fish was thrown at the prediction from jewfish to kingfish to yellowfin and even dolphins.

good stuff mate would t you still be eating those marlin cutlets
-
south and north head are both good spots but are affected obviuosly with certain winds
i really doubt that you can catch yourself snapper landbased in calm water on a regular basis.
fishing from the rocks i reckon would be a bare minimum to put you in with a shot.
i really don t recommend it to you though unless you are with someone as your only a young fella with minimal experience.

the wreck, not the parramatta.
my mate got one on wednesday there 17kg on ians gear

mate reminds me of a morning in berowra when we left the ramp clear as day, but by the time we hit joe crafts creek i kid you not we could not see a thing.
after following a boat in the wrong direction we were totally dis orientated.
thanks to my quick thinking and brains pulled out the map and compass and followed the shore line whilst keeping an eye on the sounder and worked our way down the river. by the time we got to turn at milsons island it was clear as day.
very frustrating and dangerous

bad luck tiger
hope your feeling better now and ready for the big season ahead
-
im not 100% sure but i think it was a 5.8 metre haines
-
congratulations kantong on 200 i think i reached 400 yesterday
-
your spot on netic.
they were great fish never mind the weights.
im just greatful i got to experience it, thanks again anthony.
-
not here to bullshit around with weights i was thinking if bb fish was 42kg mine would have been closer to that as it was never weighed correctly. i got to weigh it after taking off half the slab from its body and it still pulled the scales to 27.5.
im definatley not over awed by the prospects of a yellowfin because they ain t a jew.
throwing predicted sizes is definately not me, i was just to dam tired to care at the time.
i dont really care what people can see or say if you think its 1 kg or 100kg makes know difference to me

seedy
cold, uncomforatble. but hey thats comittment im sure when the season progresses armed with live squid and a few yakkas you would definately be in with a much better shot

good stuff on what you got mate.
your theory on a 50- 80cm king being unable to take a 30 cm yakka is most definately wrong.
at the western wedding cake last year i was catching endless amounts of undersize kings on 30cm yakkas it was truly hard to believe the fish were lass than half the size of the bait.
i reckon you were losing kings today
sorry to hear that
